  • can someone explain to me the chart at 1:01 please? i cant read/understand it

  • the only way you would be able to die from marijuana is if you smoked about 20,000 joints in about 20 minutes... and i dont think anyone is capable of that...

  • dude trippy water

  • It is possible to kill yourself with weed.

Even though it would be extremely hard.

It would have to include some very very potent hash edibles.

Then you would have to smoke as much hash oil as you could before blacking out.

  • actually according to the LD50 rating you would need to consume about 1500 pounds of marijuana within 20 minutes for it to be lethal. the Ld50 is only estimated because scientist have never been successful in trying to give a lethal dose to lab animals. no rat has ever died nor human.

  • I realize how huge of a amount you would need to die, but im telling you its possible with very pure hash oil, HEAVILY CONCENTRATED into edibles.

  • ur retarded, u seriously think noones tried this before?

  • Yes I think many people have attempted to kill themselves with cannabis and failed.

But if you just kept refining cannabutter until you've reached the purest point you could possibly get, then took as much of that cannabutter as you could get and made as many EXTREMELY condensed edibles as you could.

Then ate as many as you could you would die.

I have no idea why you would say "ur retarded".

What did I mention that makes you think im retarded?

  • you mean LEGALIZE. decriminalizing it still makes it illegal to grow and sell...

Decriminalization is not the answer.. complete legalization is what we need

  • funny how this ends on 420. good story

  • I Have MS. Marijuana helps Pain, life over obeying the law .

  • Despite scientific support, the federal government has kept cannabis in schedule1 as a way to deny patients access to medical marijuana. This includes people suffering from asthma, cancer, aids, tumors, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, and relief of many other conditions. As a result, people at various locations across the USA have had to risk and suffer years in prison for providing medical marijuana.

What would Jesus do? He chose to break the law in order to heal the sick!

  • kate bohner does NOT give me a bohner

  • if i was had cancer i woudnt smoke... weed is terrible i wish it didnt exist in the world

  • you say its terrible because you have never smoked it before.

  • No actually there are 10s of millions who use marijuana in the united states. Marijuana cannot kill you.

  • You're a fucking tool for the feds and the religious nut jobs BITCH The same propaganda we all heard before. Get a clue. Cannabis helps people fuckhead.

  • LIFE VS the law, I'll take life you fucking FED Fuckheads!!!

  • WE GROWN ASS PEOPLE DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN OR CAN'T SMOKE BIACH I AINT KILLN NO ONE.... YET!! (key word)

  • i liked this video :)

    just moved new area kM

  • hahahahah first of all u can eat it or drink it too. 2nd the only reason there are more deaths from alcohol&tabacco is becuase WEED NEVER KILLED ANYBODY. go outside sometime

  • if anything alcohol should be illigal because i pesonaly find it more dangerous that weed CUZ i got reel drunk one time and people told me i was throwing up and picking fights the next day i remember waking up in a hospital with a broken arm cuz i fell and i dont remember a single second on the other hand weed is safe cuz if i get really fucked up on weed i remember every thing and im more conscience of what im doing and ive never had a problem only on alcohol do i get hurt

    LEGALIZE IT!!!

  • Thank you kate. I am a famly man in pa. never had any trouble with the law, facing a year an a felony charge, in the next 2 weeks. for having 15 plants "most not more than 8" tall." that I use for my back and my insomnia. mainly because I can't afford $100.00 a week in meds. needless to say I can't afford a lawyer ether, your vid. gives Me some hope.I don't care what happens as long as I can say out of jail so I can still provide for my family. If anyone has any advice I would be grateful.

  • video should have been one second longer

  • hemp is also called the tree of life [cannabis ;indica]C;sativa was the hemp type the farmers grew

rev 22 talks of the fruits from the tree of life being one each month[in fact hemp makes [renewably and sustainably] over 30,000 products

from tree free paper /plastic, fibre, icecream, flour, oil,to medicine, soap, glues, paints,as well as cleans up poluted soils , carben storage ,biomass, stockfood, gas,ink arthritus medication,it is the best stroke treatment, financial intrests suppress it

  • dear kate [marijuana is a regesterd trademark owned by bayer corp;a cheap cigarete vilified to outlaw hemp so oil intrests could replace hemp with oil, its botanicaly cannabis ,but the farmers called it hemp, its drug componant is called thc[one of 3000 compounds found in hemp] ,but govt used marijuanna to declare war on its own citizenry, by subverting a plant into a drug, by lies and distortions and a tax law

  • Bernie's Farm should never be seized... The Marijuana he was growing for himself and a few other medical friends, does not add up in value, to the value of his farm.

But besides that, Property seizures are the biggest scam and one of most horrible scar on out constitution.

  • my dad was desperate to buy pot for his brother dying from cancer. my dad was going to buy the pot and ship it to another state. whoa, dad. you are better off flying there and buying it there. i don't know how many laws you would break sending it through a delivery service across state lines. when it is your family...you are desperate to get relief for your family member.

  • good job. most news programs demonize this beautiful herb. millions of people in the US use pills which have horrible side effects or may even cause death. Marijuana is not addictive, there are no lethal side effects(it does not cause internal bleeding, diarrea, vomiting, blood clots, heart problems, etc.,)12 states vs. the US government(which also grows marijuana) stand up and speak your mind.

---sirstabulous born and raised in the Land of Enchantment

  • Great story Kate!! Good delivery too :)

  • Your piece on medicinal marijuana was well researched and informative; I enjoyed it immensely. Less distracting hand movements too. Kate, forgive me for saying so but I get the impression you're not completely comfortable in front of the camera. You should be Kate, you have more presence than most of the women journalists I see on TV. IMHO, you don't have to try so hard--just be you and the rest will take care of itself!

  • legalize it

  • I am loving the hair and wardrobe today my dear! YOU ROCK!

  • My Aunt used marijuana for her nausea from the chemo when she was being treated for breast cancer and it helped her tremendously. As soon as the chemo was over, she stopped. So I don't see any problem here. People just have to be careful.

  • You Americans are so uptight!!!

  • This show is a great way to illustrate a very complicated issue!!!!!!

  • It's pretty clear from my screenname what my point of view might be -- but I agree with those above. If a person is sick or dying or can't eat -- why shouldn't they be allowed to ease their pain? They should have the choice.

  • grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl i smoke a joint every night before i go to bed....I dont know what id do without it...but what i can do without is that orange shirt. girl i told you before that, that color is for halloween and halloween alone...

  • Leave my lover alone you dirty little diva you!

  • yeah that's funny. funny like you're asking to get slapped.

  • Tripping June has a song about a 14 year old killer in New Mexico. I will attept to post it here as a video response. Let us see if you accept.

By the way... I wish I had a farm of marijuana plants.

  • ollonelycat ... of course I'll accept! I'm still smarting that you dodged me at Andi's opening!!!!!!

  • You got me.

It must have been the small possibility of my fantasies becoming a reality that frightened me at the last minute.

So I just decided to play a show instead.

    I'm sorry I pussy-ed out.

I would have loved to critique art work with you.

Maybe next time she graduates then.

  • oh kitty cat you're so funny and cute...i'd love to live on that farm with you boy...mhmm.

  • How about me you and Kate on the farm smoking our crack. I mean medicinal mary J.

  • no you wouldn't.

  • WOW....i love your hair pulled back Kate, you look so HOT HOT HOT.... Yummmmmmmmmmmmmy....

  • This was such a great way to tell the story Kate....You really put a face on the issue. Rather than making the story about drugs you made it about people...Way to go!!!!

  • I LOVE me some ganja every now and then for the "pain." LOL. KEEP ROCKIN ON kate...

  • Drinking and driving kills more people each year than smoking marijuana. Cigerettes are the number one cause of lung cancer. Yet these two "drugs" are completely legal. It's sickening how the government continues to pander to the above drugs but try to keep a low risk drug like marijuana out of the hands terminally ill people. Disgusting.

  • I agree. I'll tell you TomCat ... in doing this story? It very much "put a face" on this issue for me. The people in question are in so much pain, they have such enormous amounts of nausea that they can barely eat ... it seems absurd that the government is going to such lengths to refuse them this tiny bit of relief. Let's put it this way. After my conversations with people, they are defintely not in it to get "high." Thanks for your comments -- and thanks for checking back in :-)

  • If it would help, anyone who is sick should have the right to feel better.

  • If someone is sick or in chronic pain, I just don't think they're hurting anyone by using marijuana every now and then. In the realm of "bad behavior" or "unlawful behavior" -- this is pretty low on my priority list!

  • Interesting piece. I'm very anti-drug. But after watching this, I can sympathize (and I'm not saying this story is pro-marijuana use.) I am just not sure where we can draw the line.

  • Stay with us on the "katebohner" channel ... we'll be on KBTVonline soon! The Management :-)
