How well does this take to EMGs? From me experience EMGs make solid states clip bad.

It comes with EMG's. Sounds great, too. He changed his to S.D. pickups.

Haha, I got a guitar with EMGs after I posted that question. It kicks ass. Randall truly make the best solid states on the market :)

NICE, great blues-metal pickups. Ive taken apart my old epiphone for shits and giggles and really want to change the crap pickups that come with it. but i want passives. mainly because i dont wanna bore out anymore holes, and my mh400nt has those badass active emgs. are those Seymour duncans passive/active? how do they sound? sound isnt 100% justified on youtube. badass playing! KEEP IT FUCKIN METAL!

my english sucks so i dont know how to answer you xD the sound is great, you get great pinch harmonics and you have a phat and defined sound, not too much bass.. but i dont know how much better they are in comparison with the emgs because i never had some in this guitar
