When they talk about "gov't spending," you DO realize that they're talking about "taxpayer dollars," right? If you make less than $250k, you're not gonna get a tax increase are you? Do you smoke or buy gasoline? The gov't makes more off the deal than the co's that produce gas and smokes. When the prices go up, you pay MORE taxes! Look at it this way: if you have a job, you're "rich"! Don't you *feel* rich? Sometimes ya just gotta go with the lesser of two evils. Or pay the price...ouch!

If Cap n Trade passes, it won't be the businesses paying up. It will be the average U.S. citizen. Our gov is taxing us out of our homes.

If the gov is truly concerned about CO2 emissions then they should create legislation that will apply to the businesses that produce it.

The US govt needs to take a 10 year hiatus from saving the world. Bring the troops home. Let other countries take care of themselves for awhile. The Govt needs to restructure and DOWNSIZE. Corporations make profits because they do not have redundent agencies (sections in corps) that do the same job and understand the cost of WASTE. We need an indy, non political group to go agency by agency and remove the bureaucratic waste that is duplicated in our govt. Need to do what Harding did in '20's.

The commercial needs to be changed in light of the recent emails that were found that show conversations between climate scientists who were "tweeking" the numbers to make the public believe in the global warming farce. Oh yes, Glenn Beck has the emails and the Washington Post has verified them to be legitimate emails. The numbers have been falsified as far back as 1960. They tweeked the latest numbers when the scientists themselves couldn't believe the FACT that the earth was really cooling.

Well, I agree and have agreed for some time that Global Warming is a joke. It has been proven recently that the so called Climatologist have been faking the numbers because the data didnt backup their conclusions. I know that Spotted Al would lose out on some money along with a few others. But I cant keep wondering why the UN is behind this and I keep thinking there is some political agenda.
