I'm sure it's fast and it's generally a radical departure from the plush albeit plain luxury cars Lexus is know for.

In terms of appearance I think it pales in comparison to the ///M or ///AMG offerings.

Maybe with enough after market parts it might look better.

Plus, the font used for the F stands for FUGLY.

At least Lexus is finally taking some design cues from the Germans instead of offering the usual minimalist and predictable cars designs of recent years.

Mine's a daily commuter (120+ miles round trip) and I'm averaging about 24-25 mpg on the highway... at speeds about 80mpg on the open road. Not bad for a 5L V-8. :-)

The great thing is that in order for it to deliver those ponys it HAS to use 93 octane gasoline. And with the gas price going up, but its still one fine piece of performance. Hope the gas price situation dont make the car useless.

For a $60k+ car buyer, the gas money shouldnt be an issue. the ISF actually gets better mpg than most V8s, better than the M3 and C63

You have two accounts to pay, gas account and the car payment. If you can afford the car, you sure as heck can afford the INCREASING and NEVER DROPPING gas prices. Hey, at the current situation, gas costs and the monthly payment will be equal. But still, the Lexus IS-F is one fine piece of performance.
