  • "intent to influence any judge, juror, witness, or officer of the court in the discharge of his or her duty, is guilty of a misdemeanor." I know nothing of the case - but I agree with that law - a group should have no influence on the outcome of a court case, one way or the other.

  • The flyer law is BS, didn,t you see the cameras,i,d go talk to a lawyer interpret that law. i think that deals with the court people. or people involved with the case .If the media isn,t breaking that law then i don,t see how passing out flyers would .How can you get a fair jury trail in this country with the media circus ..if thats not a violation of this so called flyer law then what is ..the law is self explanitory .. ask a lawyer ..to look into it ..

  • Good advise! Pick your battles carefully-

  • WOW.

  • what propaganda nonsense !

  • take that oscar grant sympathizer to jail. Grant was a career criminal

  • @Spaniard786 god ur a racist white middle america scum bag. the whole reason states are bankrupt because of people like you wanting to imprison non-violent low level crimes. sad thing is you have more in common with oscar grant than you do with the super rich whom im sure you love giving tax break blow jobs too.

  • @Spaniard786 you get the dickweed award ..where do you people come from Mars ..doesn,t matter what he,s done in the past .maybe we should shoot you for stealin out of the cookie jar when your mother wasn,t looking .Or stealin money out of her purse .yep you get the dickweed award ..stupid comments deserve it ..dickweed ..

  • Whenever I see police I get chills.

They are simply Fascist scum from fascist goverment.

    I can't stand them.

  • @shiggashane1

Oscar hadn't been in a fight, nor did the officer help him. On the contrary, Mehserle handcuffed him and allowed him to bleed to death.

I can respect your interpretation of whether or not this was a racist act, but make sure you get your facts straight.

  • Sentencing for Johannes Mehserle will not occur on August 6, 2010 as originally planned.

  • The truth of ANY issue with a black person in the media is that for the BLACK community we are victims or injustice sense slavery so when we see a black person wrongfully inprisoned, beaten, threatened, killed by the hands of the police it is not a shock to us... who have opressed white people? white people are so ignorant and it seems like the blackman has opressed or hurt the white man in some way... if your not black you will never understand what happened. all of your comments are racial

  • @digitalphunc You know, I happen to think the complete opposite. Oscar Grant was fighting tooth and nail while he was down one the ground. It was an error in judgment. He was a police officer. He was protecting his city that he was paid to protect. Oscar Grant had absolutely zero respect for the law. If you fight police while you are being arrested you have a reasonable chance to be shot. The 4 police officers in Oakland that got shot by a hoodlum and killed was in these officer's minds.

  • @digitalphunc (cont) Was it an error? Yes. Was he shot in cold blood? No, not at all. In another post, they said that the justice system that was biased. Biased against what??? I have not met one Black person who felt that Mr. Mehserle shouldn't be stoned to death. This is not biased?? It has very little to do with the facts in the case. The Black community gave a guilty verdict to this man long before it went to trial. And when things like this happen, it tends to make me discredit (cont)

  • @digitalphunc (continued)the opinions of the black community as a whole. It is just like Michael Vick, We have a talk show here in Houston that I listen to, and from time to time the subject was Michael Vick. The Black community as a whole felt he should be let go, and apologized to him for wrongfully arresting him. There were 1000 reasons of why this man was innocent. He even had Black celebrities speaking in his behalf.

  • @digitalphunc When this happens, it gives the Black community as a whole a black eye, where very few people are willing to value their opinions as a whole. Now, If an African American were to read what I am saying, the first thing they will probably think is that I am a racist. I am not. Not at all. I am for justice. And Mr. Mehserle is a man who is getting treated unfairly by the Black community.

  • @digitalphunc But.. I have seen issue after issue happen for years. I am smart enough to know their opinions will never budge one inch on this issue either. So, I am sorry, society can not listen to a group, and sentence this man according to their liking

  • @weightSndrumS I have never seen Obama or Oprah act the way you discribed and those are just a small example of BLACK america who makes more money than you and has more education than you... so why cant you say SOME blacks act that way which would be an honest statement..I think that blacks DONT threaten to start riots they actually see injustice and the ones who dont know how to talk out thier issues cause trouble. Its called injustice and if your NOT black you have no idea what that means

  • Damn just follow the rules,it simple.Move your ass 5 feet up to the other area,it just the simple.

  • Wow. This whole society is just fuced up!!!!! Don't you dare go to a courthouse and apprise people of what's going on inside. You can't do that. Your a slave you see!

  • @weightSndrumS do you know any black people? if you do and they do what you say, you are friends with the wrong black people. Im done with this matter I have more important things to do than to go back and forth on an issue that is very clear. a person lost their life at the hand of a cop. the person was not armed and had a knee on their back... white or black this is wrong but until you become black and you are assaulted by a white police officer for no reason you should really shut up

  • @digitalphunc very well said, it is always easy for non-black people to mention over reaction to injustices shown towards black people, they could never fully understand until their freedoms and rights are abused. A question to ask is: would the verdict have been the same should the cop have been black and the victim white?

  • you have been fooled for so long justice is not for YOU its for the system. Black people been trying to tell you this for ages. everything is not always white or black.. if a black officer had killed any race that fool should go to jail very simple. it was a stupid mistake or an abuse of power. without the cameras it would be a totally different story that the police would have lied about. taser vs Gun "note to self" one shoots out electic pulses the other shoots out deadly bulltets

  • @weightSndrumS Im black and I dont do any of the things that you mentioned... am I not black? lol, get a life

  • @weightSndrumS your comment is so full of horrible blatant stereotypes of a people (41 million) that it hardly warrants a response. black people don't read books? they just play basketball? i'm sorry, but it's pretty clear that you don't have any close black friends. i really hope you can re-read what you wrote and try to understand where these ideas you mentioned come from. a piece of advice, when you talk to people, no matter what color, look them in the eye and speak to them all equally.

  • I hope the cop gets to walk so that the jungle animals will once again demonstrate that they need to be culled.

  • Solidarity forever.

  • Yo! Aidgski, keepin' yaelf cool, calm, & collected. The obese sheriff was at least nice about it, but I as do some others feel the same about how the pigs are just trying to keep this case hush hush by preventing you & many others from passing out flyers to have "Justice for Oscar Grant." Ph*ck Tha Law that protects pigs from doing MULTIple injustices to the innocent people of our nation! Keep preachin' Luke!!!

  • Can all you people commenting on possible riots and rebellions please use the word "THEY" some more? " Their " neighborhood, " Their " stores. Oakland is a city. Los Angeles is a city. " THEIR " neighborhoods are part of a city as a whole. We're all neighbors. We're all co-workers. We ride the same buses. We shop at the same stores. We fill up gas at the same tanks. It's not the 50's. Segregation and disconnect seem to be one of the most dangerous things still lingering. O. Grant is all of us.

  • fuck those pigs

  • @godmcmejhova You like fucking pigs? Very strange, but hope it makes you happy. I know people fuck sheep and the odd goat, but pigs, they are so dirty. I will stick to human females.

  • No the title ISN'T misleading because it's the truth. If he continues he'll go to jail because they don't want everyone to know the truth, that's the whole reason for not allowing cameras in this courtroom. They're using the excuse that it may influence or "impede" justice. That's coming straight from the judge, it's not "propaganda"... it's the truth.

  • Completely misleading heading for this video and guilty of the same type of propaganda that it trying to portray as being against. The guy was given the reason why and the reasons are clear. It has nothing to do with the particular case.

  • @OutsideTheEdge It has everything to do with this case. People pass out information in and around this court house constantly. I've even seen a man with a bullhorn and a sign protesting another case / judge without any threats from the sheriff. However, THIS gentleman is threatened with arrest if he continues to distribute information about a rally associated with this case? I say that's bullshit!

  • @AveIvy Firstly it is not established who (if anyone) told that cop to approach the leaflet distibutor. Secondly you say people pass out info around the court house "constantly" without trouble. Although this again is not shown, even if it were true, the rules are still there and it is the right of the court to enforce the rules whenever they wish to. The cop did not stop him distibuting his leaflets, only in that spot. Also, the cop was very resonable in his demeanor and conduct.

  • i'm all for a peaceful protest or a peaceful civil dissobidience . but i am not in favor of dumbasses burning and destroying there own neighborhood that won't resolve anything all it will do is give the pigs an excuse to have martial law in the hoods . if your gonna protest do it peacefully and smart and organized i made a video about this subject feel free to see it on my channel .

  • @weightSndrumS The city is ready. I've seen on the local news the cops are practicing with volunteers and businesses have their windows covered with wooden boards. They can always trash their own neighborhood.

  • he was passing out flyers...thats impeding justice?

and damn that cop was fat.

  • I would have said "How exactly is this impeding justice"... that's ridiculous.. you have to speak legalese..
