@SolWarriorNidhogg While even I did notice this aspect(From the review no less, and not from actually watching the movie recently), this doesn't make up for the film's problems of making that a strong theme. It's there, but it lacks the power to have the message come across with meaning.

Doug Walker does miss a lot of things, to be fair, and he owns up to it when it comes ot his attention. But that doesn't diminsh the value of his observations in regards to the films he reviews.

I used to LOVE this as a kid; I'd watch it ALL the time; and I'd even go up to my parents and say "this is not my underwear, this is my pajamas!!!". -___-

This movie scared me as a kid as well, and I always found it intriguing. I rewatched it as an adult a few months back and it was a completely different experience. I definitely see what the Critic is saying, but I could NEVER hate this movie (same with The Pebble and the Pengin lol); it brings back too many memories.

I saw this movie back when I was really little, and then, when I saw it again as an adult, it was ridiculously disappointing. The plot was indeed all over the place, and had an awful time following it (and figuring out what the hell was up with the pie). I'd say this review is definitely spot-on.

About the Nightmare King's voice, It does sound a bit dissappointing, but it's far more dissappointing after you heard the Narrator from 11eyes voice him. Look up the video marked j5fxL48JhDE

Why does every movie for children have to have an amazing and deep plot? The movie is the dream (and therefore imagination) of a child. Why would the entire thing make sense? If it made more sense, it would be missing its own point entirely. The story is flawed because the main character is a CHILD. The main character is a little dull because he is an impressionable, innocent CHILD experiencing a fantasy world. What would have been better? Bastion from the Neverending St-... oh, wait.

I liked this movie as a kid. It scared the shit out of me. XD Thanks to this film, I'm an avid horror movie fan. I watch movies that scare me cause' its fun! I also like the animation they used. I do have a complaint though. Nostalgia Critic thinks Nemo has no personality because he's portrayed as an innocent child? Maybe he's just not too familiar with the idea of the story's hero being innocent. Not that anyone could blame him. Innocence is a thing of the past.

In fact, this movie and Pagemaster, both of which are movies the Nostalgia Critic assumed nobody ever saw, are some of the only two movies he's reviewed that I've actually seen. This movie was such a lost part of my childhood that I actually bought the movie on DVD 3 years ago. But I gotta say, I was disappointed and kind of bored.
