@leokimvideo i know lego is trying to make cheaters think they could not feel or knoe wats inside.this is the way *sighs* becoz lego wanted to make all of the buyers to just choose one mystery pack randomly, this is what the mystery pack meant to do(P.S i got lucky coz all my series 3,4,5,6 that i opened have different minifigure each.so far i only have 3000+lego pieces and only 20+ minifigures.thats small i knoe-.-"')KEEP ON BRICKIN
i paid 3.50 sgd for series 3 and 3.90sgd for series 4 and 4.50 sgd for seires 5 and 4.90 sgd series 6 the spartan,if im not wron might cost 12.90sgd if it doesnt come in a mystery pack
I just paid $5 AUD for series 6, it was a very tricky series to collect. that genii is difficult to find and tricky to work out, the only real thing to feel for is no legs, the head gear feels just like a few others in the series
I thought the normal price in Canada of $3.49 was a bit much and one store which is a bit pricy but has stock in older series normally (in this case series 3 because I need it and almost every store still has series 2, although it seems that series 4 is out of stock everywhere but i got em all anyway) they sell for $4.99... and for the remaining 10 figures I need in series 3 it adds up when I need money for other things.
2-3 dollars but i dont get them that much cuz in my walmart people open the packages in the store so they stopped selling them, now they will have each new series in stores for 3 weeks. that... sucks!
3 dollars in NY. Also, the Lego store I've seen these in have a station where you can make your own minifigures. The price for the customizable minifigures is 3 for 10 dollars.
I live in Australia too...I also end up paying around $5.00 at big w and many other retail stores... but i have noticed in series four all 3 of my minifigures from series four are frankenstein... also in some other series my alien with the purple lightsaber laser didn't come with the golden raygun.
It's incredibly easy to just feel what's inside the bags without having to rely on any tricks at all. Well, I guess feeling the bags is a trick, but yeah. Feeling around, for me, is faster than deciphering the last few lines of bar codes for series 1 and 2, by far. Simply feeling for what implement the figure includes, which is usually what I feel for first, unless it's something with an overly huge suit or armor or hat, gets me what I'm looking for 100% of the time in mere seconds.
@ultamiteblowup54321 the early series had a lego bar code which was readable by a iphone app, lego removed the bar code and moved to a secret dimple code on the bottom seal of the bag
i have done a update to this video and show the issues I had collecting all series 4 minifigures
i have just done a hunt for series 4 MF, the one I had a issue with using the weight method was the Artist MF and had to look at the dimple code on the bottom of the bag to see what was going on
@conan1412robloxian I PAY 99 CENTS GREAT DEAL I USE A SPECIAL APP FOR THE DROID THAT CAN SOME TIMES SEE THROUGH THE BAG OR READ THE BLISTER CODE IM FROM CANADA
@thebman610 you have to be careful here, in the video you can see the weights on my cheat sheet BUT unles you set your scales up with a reference figure which is accurate to my weights you will be wasting your time trying to nab a individual figure
all these were done in one hit, and proved to be very successful in determing the differences between figures
@supa10able i did my hunt in full view of staffers loading shelves, other shoppers. I was asked what I was up to and when I explained they were quite impressed.

I went to the locals shopping center today to buy some of the new Ninjago spinners but unfortunately they didn't have the one i desired. Although i found these minifigure series 3+4 and after looking at some prices of the various stores, i finally found the cheapest at target with a 20% sale on lego. I purchased 2 series 3+4 minifigs but for some strange reason the series 4 ones didn't exist in the target's database. I walked away with 4 of the series 3 minifigs and i didn't get any doubles!
@leokimvideo I went to the store again today and got the elf figure from series 3 using the dot method on the back of the packs. I finally got my hands on the Nuckal spinner i was after as well.
Everyone really seems to like this method! Great Job! I'd invest in scales, but... My Toysrus rarely carries the figures, its was extremely lucky that I found series 4 there!

the finger feel method works the best, since they made the code system harder in someway (through what ive heard) for series 5.
I used the barcodes to get all 16 series 2 figures in 2 store trips
I got series 4 with codes because they were more reliable back then (although I did get doubles, but they were the only doubles I got)
I got series 5 ALL by the finger feel method... distinguished pieces are easy to find
