After losing my 1st home to servicing fraud related bankruptcy and foreclosure and now my 2nd home, a lease to purchase, to the seller/landlord going broke and giving the house back to the bank, my husband and I are attempting to buy a foreclosure with CASH from his retirement account. We were supposed to close on 3/13/09 and we were unable to because Fannie Mae and MERS can not show proper chain of ownership!! What a total mess for this country!
