Generally no. One episode 'where no man has gone' has the Enterprise accidentally ending up on the far side of and passing through Triangulum 2.700.000 light years away.

That is not particulaly significant but it is fun to know exactly where that is. In this video, leaving milky way, nearby SMC and LMC dwarf galaxies look for the big Andromeda and slightly smaller Triangulum with the blue rim.

Drake well validated point. I've always said our species is capable of accomplishing so much but we are constantly headed in the wrong direction. The enormous amounts of money we exhausted in inventing new weapon technologies would have surely put us on Mars by now had all that money been invested in space exploration programs and technologies. Instead of working together we squabble over petty things like differences of beliefs and the rapidly dwindling fossil fuel resources.
