Esse filme marcou minha infência e o de muitos brasileiros na mesma faixa etária. Foi feito por um grupo de comediantes muito popular no Brasil, especialmente entre as crianças, "Os Trapalhões". A intenção deles nunca foi a de produzir "obras primas" do cinema e sim divertir, simplesmente divertir. Esse filme particularmente, eu achava que era tosco simplesmente pela falta de recursos no país.

I'm also from Brazil, and I think it's ridiculous to point fingers to anyone overseas and bring unrelated topics into a discussion just because they did not like this movie. This movie hardly represents our country, so you realy shouldn't take it that personal. Besides, it IS a piece of shit - the Trapalhoes did a lot of half-assed crappy movies, specially in the late 70s, and this is the worse. I actually believe it's the worse movie ever made, a piece of dadaist anti-cinema. So shut up.
