how do you select a block and de select it? so you can scale it or rotate it? I made a cylinder for my sword hilt but once i made it I couldn't select the sword hilt again T_T

I'm not trying to be a troll, or down you, but if you're a noob in blender yourself, don't try to make tutorials, because there are MUCH better ways to do things like this, that look 1000x better.

@Blendiv3D yeah sorry about that it was 2 years ago and i wasn't very good at blender. You do realize though that this was a basic tutorial meant for beginners and was an easier way to do it. Yes there are other ways of doing it, but for the sake of time and difficulty, i chose this method.

Thanks! If you wanted it to look more like a sword you could just extrude it ,ore. I am going to be making a tutorial on how to make a more detailed one soon.

Hold the middle mouse button and move the mouse or if you dont have a middle mouse button press alt and move the mouse
