Powerful trailer. Like the movie, it's cold and direct. My favorite scene isn't shown in this trailer. It starts with James Mason pouring two drinks and saying, "I know how you feel." We think he's talking to Frank...but he's not.

Yippee-kay-ya !, Daddyo ! If you haven't yet seen this movie, then don't hesitate ! It wasn't nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards for nothing. Yes, it is "so-called" slow moving, (it's not an action movie) but it is a fantastic showpiece for the talents of great actors. Justice is sadly lacking in courtrooms around the world (both east and west) but at least in this film there is an ending to cheer for. And that very last scene is a credit to the director Sidney Lumet......

My favorite scene is the one in the judge's chamber but they cut it so we don't here '...I heard about you. That your a hard-ass, a defendent's judge. I know all about you. I knew you when you were a bag boy for the boys downtown. You couldn't make it as a lawyer. They did you a favor by putting you on the bench.
