Wow. The moment you use the Murder Beam on Mother Brain, the game slows to a crawl, Mother Brain's leg disappears along with Samus, and Mother Brain goes apeshit by having seizures and mood swings.
I've done VAR before, but haven't tried it on Mother Brain. Have you tried doing it in the last save room? When I tried it Samus melted and the whole screen leaned, like noclip style through the ground... too bad I didn't have any recording software or I would have recorded it :D

you can only use when you are charged, after this you have to turn off spazer, or your game will freeze!

I never had this problem of freezing, I guess depends of the emulator, I use zsnes about 10 years, and never have this problem :P

You have the wave beam on. Turn it off to stop the game from freezing.
