@Seventaiji Mate . I can't explain you why i care so much about fuel , cuz i was born and raised 22000 km away from America and maybe you too ( don't know where your from ) . But it is still an old car , it will need parts , how do i import them from US? By plaine would cost a fortune , when on a 05-08 Focus , older and newer models are a common sight here , in fact i got a Ford showroom at less then 10 miles away so do Chevrolet and Opel at like 4 miles .

But we have interesting car imported, and the taxes are not that high as soon as you start searching for a "collection" car. I've seen recently a Chevelle SS (clone I guess, but still 70 Chevelle) for 12.000€. If you can afford the insurance fees, it is not that high, though it is not given either. But about fuel, I can't restrain myself... I fave pleasure over reason, that's why.

Thats 1 thing , another is , in the US , laws are so agressive about the engine capacity , when here , the taxes for over 2L engines go sky high , thats why only Audi Merc Porsche owners and so one can afford such an engine .

@Seventaiji Then is the problem with the first registration tax , wich for a common 4-5L wich is small still , the medium size from what i know on a Charger is arround 6 L engines , is umbeliveble . Just an example . A guy imported a BMW arround 5L engine from Germany , and he had to pay arround 5-6000 Euros , wich is arround 8000 US Dollars just the tax , then add at least a 20-30000 $ price of a decent car .

I mean the door hinges and the thresholds were poorly painted , interior was so neglected and so on .
