I went there back in 2010. We had to go through the woods and they had a patrol officer living there. I don't think Glen Dale survived the Blizzard of 2010 though which is a shame.
damn since my friends and I have horrible directions we failed to get their last night you think you can give us an address of this place? and yea we live like 30mins away in silver spring/rockville.
I'm not going to look up the exact address for you, but check out Google Maps and find the intersection of Mariottsville Rd. and Mariottsville Rd. 2. It is west of that an is a few hundred yards north of the Patapsco River. It should appear as a big building complex surrounded by trees from the air.
Dude are you brahs that scared you wont go at night? arent you guys risking more of a chance of getting caught during the day? Me and a couple of my boys from back home in PA go to haunted houses and insance asylums and anything we can find, we hit the 7 gates of hell befor they tore it down we made it all the way inside and tagged our name on the west wing bathroom "SKEPTICS" aka "GHOST PUNCHERS"... ima hit that hospital here when i get home on vacation next weekend.. and post the video to you
well u clearly think your shit doesnt stink, and go at night and wave your flashlight around like a dipshit and u will get caught. bring the paint so you get fucked as well
There is no known safe level of exposure to asbestos dust. John Gummer MP when Environment Minister said: "One asbestos fibre can kill." However, not everyone exposed will become ill. All we know is that the more asbestos someone is exposed to the more likely it is they will become ill and that the only safe exposure is zero exposure.
period'), although much shorter and longer periods have been recorded. Pleural thickening can happen more quickly.
I actually saw my doctor last week for a check up and asked him about this. The people get sick from asbestos when they are in the process of tearing down buildings and all the fibers are floating around in the air. If you're going into a long-wrecked building like Glenn Dale, where all the windows and doors are open to clear the air and where no demo work is going on, you're fine. I imagine this is especially true if you only stay 30-60 minutes like I did.
just you, ghosts, asbestos, lead paint and old medical waste, remember it only takes one fiber of asbestos to get asbesteoses...let me know how you are in 10 years
You only get sick if you work or live in an asbestos/lead-paint ridden building for at least several months on end. In most cases it takes years of exposure to become ill. FYI, I started exploring abandoned buildings more than 10 years ago, and I'm in perfect health. Oh yeah, and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are overrated pieces of shit.
