I am glad that Kimberly Cates got her last wish and that was to protect her daughter Jamie. Although injured, Jamie survived. Kimberly was such a beautiful person. She was a nurse that I had the pleasure of working with and I found her to be happy, bubbly, helpful and compassionate. Just a lovely person all the way.
The little girl is not clinging to her life Nancy Grace, she had her toes cut off. That is horrible injury but not life threatening. She's such a liar trying to make the story worse than it is.
@jaymoore299 Actually she was clinging to life after the attack. The story does not need to be made worse than it is, the only way it could be worse is if they had succeeded in killing both. This little girl had dozens of operations to save her life. If you do not believe me you can read the horrid details on any NH new site. This crime is one of the worst I have ever read about.
@tessoftware that little girl was in Children's Hospital for weeks. I don't think most adults could manage to be as strong as that child was. I can't post the link but you can google this "Prosecutors, police, others describe how mom, girl cut" and you will see the article in the Nashua Telegraph. Had she not crawled to the phone the Doctors said she would have died within a short time from blood loss.
Im not really for the death penalty unless it is a crime like this, someone that could hurt a little child and kill her mother doesn't deserve to live. I can't understand this how could you do this to a 10 year old girl? this is the sickest thing i've heard in a very long time. Put them to death for this, make an example out of them.
It is tragic but as well NH does not have the death penalty except in "limited cases" ie : the murder of a police officer or judge, murder for hire, and murder during a kidnapping, rape or some drug crimes !
I know its a terrible thing to wish for but some way I hope the case can be tried as one of the exceptions.
if anyone deserved capital punishment it is this group of low lives.
This poor woman was an RN and well loved by her staff and hopital coworkers.
Did she say they had not been charged? Does it look like they will be charged? Weird coincidence that the husband was away, strange also because it was on a weekend...or else they had been watching...sickening!
