I've got good memories too with this song:) When I was younger I was singing in my secondary school's choir in Hungary (sometimes I'm still singing there even now) and we had a "friend" choir in Münster. They visited us and I've heard this song first in their diction. Since then when I hear this song I always think about them and that fantastic week of visiting:) And by this fact, I like this song:)
