Every GREAT song starts with the LYRICS. and Paul Williams has to be considered as one of a handful of the greatest song writers of all time. Rogers and Hammerstein, Lennon & McCartney, Goffin & King, there's a few others, too. I also think it's great that Three Dog Night, The Carpenters and others took these great lyrics and made them a HIT RECORD !!
