Dilandau is a guy. Since Escaflowne is a shojou anime(meant for girls), expect the guys to be more girly than the girls.

With Hunter Robin is about a witch named Robin who is apart of secret witch-hunting organization. It's a good show, but has a lot of quiet slow moments, but the opening song totally rocks, and it has a good story line. It's like Ghost in the Shell... for the Occult!

Well, the particular series mentioned do tend to drag. I love Wolf's Rain. I just love it. Kind of an acquired taste, but I love it. But it can drag. And drag.....and drag. It was stupid, the end made no sense, and it was rushed into production WAY too soon just to increase manga/magazine sales. Just like Sekirei, Kuroshitsuji and everything else YG/SquareEnix produces as anime.
