This is in my top 4 games of all time (In no order). Alongside Phantasy Star Online, Legend of Zelda: OOT, and most recently, Skyrim. Shenmue defined the single player experience at the key point in my life to actually allow me to respect not only the fact video games can dominate such strong emotions, but also allow us to live and breath a universe of believable characters. Wonderful.

Yes, there's a few DC Emulators for the PC. Chankast is one of them. I think it's one of the best out there, so get a Shenmue iso somewhere and try running it in Chankast. :)
Same here even if I'm 100, as long as my eyes work and my finger do I'll play it, or even have my great grandkids do it and just watch, this is the only incentive I have to get married and have kids so that one day if I become old and feeble that I'll have someone that will play shenmue for me incase I can't do it myself.

After them telling me I had ONE day to play this game, I saw that it was THREE discs.

@convictpanda The game didn't sell enough to warrant them spending obscene amounts of time and effort on it. Especially after Shenmue 1 bombed.

Slowly, but surely, a day will come when Shenmue 1&2 will be remastered in HD (though unchanged) and put on Xbox Live and Playstation Network and then...and then... Shenmue 3. I hope anyway. ;-)

I will forever love this game. The second is my favourite and has been since I got it. I want Shenmue III more than anything. I must defeat lan Di. At the very least use the Demon's Triangle move scroll I was given lol

@2bigbarnes they didnt make a 3rd one coz from the previous ones they didnt make alot of money out of them, they got less money that it took them to make the game, it wasnt a success. i admit its an amazing game.

@LiangHuBBB i feel the second one wasnt as epic :( but Shenmue 1 is in my top 5 best 5 games. Believe me when i say this.. I am very hard to please when it comes to game reviews. Brings me to a happy place when i was 13 playing this on my dreamcast :D

Yes, there's a few DC Emulators for the PC. Chankast is one of them. I think it's one of the best out there, so get a Shenmue iso somewhere and try running it in Chankast. :)

Same here even if I'm 100, as long as my eyes work and my finger do I'll play it, or even have my great grandkids do it and just watch, this is the only incentive I have to get married and have kids so that one day if I become old and feeble that I'll have someone that will play shenmue for me incase I can't do it myself.
