  • Chris, you are definitely the luckiest magician on this universe. You get to learn all these magic tricks for free. Enough said.

  • @tallyhoviper645

    I think he owns magicgeek

  • @killazerg1 I know that he owns magicgeek. What I'm saying is that he is very lucky to be able to learn all the newset tricks as well as others out on the market. Take a look at all of his videos here on youtube, all the magic that he performed on his videos are very popular and one can only wish to acquire that much magic as well as knowledge like the one and only Chris Ballinger.

I used to buy a lot of magic, but not anymore. Learning a lot of tricks isn't always a good thing. I learned a lot, but never really performed everything at peak because I would have the newest thing before I mastered the old one. The best advice another magician gave me was at a S.A.M. meeting. He said to learn a few tricks well instead of too much. I learned that the hard and expensive way. Anyway, books are the way to go for me now. And rarely items, such as the Sherpa

  • @killazerg1 But I am a person that learns best by watching. Good tips though.

  • @killazerg1

I used to be that way. Watching does have its benefits, but if you want to watch how a move is done, you can always find a clip online for reference. If you buy a book for $50, you would get material in there that would otherwise cost you 3x in DVD's

  • @killazerg1 totally agree, and yes books have so much more stuff in them that is such valuable stuff.. tarbell is the best example. although ive been doing magic for a while i learn something new EVERYtime i open a tarbell book
