The queue for this ride was horrendus. It kept on going! Terrible! Not a bad ride though, but it definitely got worse when they put the over head restraints in, better when they changed it to a lap bar again. Not sad to see it go because the restaurant thats there now is lovely!

After managing to slip out of the car on 21 July 2000, the boy struck his head against a stanchion and ended up hanging from another car.

That's not the reason it closed,it worked for many years after that.

@behappybehippy The boy panicked and took his seatbelt off unfortunately he fell out and died, then the ride went under refurbishment and became Space Invader 2 dont actually know why the ride closed. The ride has now been moved to Brean leisure park under the name of astro storm

as a kid we went to pleasure beach maybe twice a year this ride was always out of service was it a good ride?
