Interesting idea, although it might have been better if you'd included a hero for these villains to be after (If you want ideas, I recommend the Doctor from "Dr Who", using "The Pandorica Opens"- where most of his old enemies teamed up to lock him in an inescapable prison in the belief that he was about to trigger the destruction of the universe- as an inspiration)
