  • The song is from the 'Mercenaries 2: World in Flames' video game and is titled, "Oh No You Didn't" and is performed by the Trashmen Band.

  • I think it is more about the video and music arts than the martial arts! Great job, very fun and thought provoking.

  • This video is wonderful. I am going for my first degree brown belt very soon and this video really helped me remember all of the Oku techniques. Thank you!

  • Great Oku workout ! The 1943 video in on youtube. I am looking forward to seeing more of you guys.

  • Great video, loved the music and the words of the song. Doing some Danzan Ryu with Master Larry Hartsook in Atlanta and what a great system. This was great to see...LOL lots of expression in the Ukemi waza.

  • hahah thanks a lot for the supportive comments... I hope to make more little videos like this throughout the year. Thanks again

  • That is great! What is your lineage?

  • Thanks! I guess my lineage is Okasaki -> Law -> Beach -> Barber/Limbaugh/Gray -> Me

  • My Great Uncles were all taught by Professor Okazaki.

I take from one of them's son.

  • That's awesome. You are very fortunate!

  • this the best modern danzan ryu footage i've seen. others are flaky and non effective looking but this one is ok..even though its speeded up.

  • Hey thanks man... yeah we only sped it up so it would look like the old 8mm footage from back-in-the-day.

  • Really good!

I saw that old footage video too. It is nice to see Professor Okazaki smiling and how the techniques have evolved from there.

Keep uploading more Kodenkan videos, one of Professor Okazaki dreams was to see his Danzan Ryu Jujitsu system all over the world and our mission is to do it through the web.

  • hey I recognize that place!

    awesome soundtrack too

  • is it just me, or does the ninja with the white pants have a disproportionately large neck? its like an orange on top of a tooth pick.

  • Yeah... I actually had to edit out parts of my neck. That's why it's so easy for dad to throw me. He just gets below my neck, which is my center of gravity.

  • Interesting choice of music, it went really well with the video.

    Nice technique, looked fun.
