  • Hey, I have a bit of a problem.. when I try to curve my horses neck ( I dont know how to say it in english, mettre en main? Aan de teugel lopen) Literally it means walking at the rein.

Well, Everytime when i am busy to do that, he rides me in the wall, so that I have to stop working on that bcause otherwise my leg wil be crushed.. :S xD

He knows that if he does that he doesnt have to work with his neck...

Can you help me? I dont really know what to de about it

    Thanks for reading anywayy

  • i think all of these videos are amazing. this has helped me 10 fold.

  • I'm glad they help. That is the point of this channel. I've asked permission of other clinics to let me film and post, but a lot of the trainers will not agree. I'd love to film a Linda Zang clinic, she's a wonderful teacher and judge, but she has said no to a request this past spring. {{{{sigh}}}} There's always hope!

  • Wow, and that to me just helps prove that Steffen & Janet aren't just about money. That's great.

And thank you for taking all that time to film this whole thing!!!

  • I have asked all my students to watch these videos. It's been fantastic for them to SEE what I've been trying to tell them. And, it is short sighted on the part of the trainers who will not allow their clinics to be filmed. It's FREE advertising for goodness sake. It was because of this series that I applied to ride in a clinic with Steffen. Still terribly disappointed I wasn't chosen.

  • These videos are amazing! Thank you for posting them!!!

  • I find DressageInMotion with Steffen Peters a great teaching tool with my schoolmaster while I am learning.

  • AH! I know! He is like my dream trainer.

  • Also, i love the way Mr. Peters teaches: first he starts by analyzing the problem & the reasons behind it, then the techniques to fix it. Wow... Also the way he approaches the students, he is very honest without being condesending which can be hard to find. I envy the riders that got to train with him. Luck lucky!

    Thanks again!

  • Wait 'til you see the PSG/ I-1 videos (the "E" series) Half pass, zig zag, passage. Great approach with the students and horses!

  • I just started watching them - they're awesome! Thank you for the new posts!

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos!!

They have been incredible in developing further understanding of dressage. you are doing a great service by allowing people to see how it's done correctly (instead of just pulling their horse into a headset)
