  • I love my latex mattress. Best mattress I've ever owned.

  • Tempurpedic Rhapsody.....go get you one. Got mine right here

  • Latex sucks if you're looking for a firm mattress..... the latex turns into a canoe with in 1 year....

  • @5koorb im interested in buying this bed and im curious, do you have this mattress? how long have you had it? which brand did you purchase? if what you say is true, i need to start my search all over. thank you for your time

  • @summerfunrides I have the Serta Vera Wang latex king size mattress. We put it in the guest room and it currently has 50lb weights on it to guarantee that it meets waranty depth. I purchased this mattress hoping that it would be firm because the innerspring we had before this was starting to impression and it was hurting my lower back. Well after about a year the latex was breaking in soooo much that I was having similar problems with it as well.

  • @summerfunrides About a month ago we thought if we paid top dollar for a mattress we would get top dollar satisfaction, well this hasn't been the case either. We purchased a Stearns and Foster innerspring, which we were told was the fimest on the market, while its still pretty firm I can tell that within the year I see having the same problems. So we're returning this one on the 60 day sleep satisfaction and buying a sleep number bed. I'm 6'2", 210 and my gf is 6', 160.

  • @5koorb

OMG, Please do not buy a sleep number!! And the firmest bed is the furthest thing you would need to help you! The truth is you need a mattress to be kind to the joint complexes while conforming and supporting the natural curves allowing for proper anatomical allignment of your nervous system. I wish i could have helped you choose your proper sleep system.

  • @znvalentine Odd, thats what everyone says, but the latex ended up "conforming" to my back and not only did it hurt my lower back but it was pulling the muscles away from my spine next to my rib cage, so it felt like I smoked 20 cigars while I was sleeping. We spent the night at a hotel that had a sleep number bed and it was mint. Before the latex and stearns I could only sleep well on my futon from college, that was like a hard packed pillow case. Fat people need support and conformity.

  • @znvalentine The number 1 rule to purchasing a bed is, you can always make a firm mattress softer, but you can't make a soft mattress firmer. So if it's too soft you're screwd.

  • Well as much as i'd love to watch the love child of Colin Hanks and Gilbert Gottfried talk about latex mattresses i have to go to work so..bye!

  • Are these real or synthetic latex mattresses? Or a mix? Some latex mattresses have memory foam mixed in too.. I heard mixed reviews for all of these..

  • Please convince my husband to purchase the Habitat 8" Latex mattress. I really want to make this purchase. I have been researching mattresses for over 6 months now. It's frustrating. I have one question though. The description of this exact mattress does not "specify" what the 6" is made of, which makes me wonder. I think it's the firm "Dunlop Natural Latex" but why doesn't Habitat specify that in the description? Please reply as soon as you can. Thanks S.

  • ...are you trying to speak for the deaf too with the way you talk?

  • I did. I purchased a 'Green Sleep' system from Obasan in Ottawa, Canada.

They come in three different firmness levels: soft, medium, and hard.

I got the hard firmness thinking I'd need it, but I weigh 130 lbs, and I found I woke up achy, as it was too firm for me. My husband had chosen the medium firmness (I think he weighs around 180 lbs), and so he switched with me. I now sleep on the medium, but I think I should have gotten the soft. Medium is still pretty firm.

  • Niki, Are your videos available to the public? or are they not for sale.

  • Nick I would like to see you compare organic mattresses verses synthetic latex mattresses. Prior to WWII people were sleeping on all natural latex mattresses for 50 years. Maybe you could compare polyurethane foam to all natural latex mattresses too, let's look at how the beds are made to diagnose the problems at the core. There is such a difference between synthetics and all natural. Teach people to read the law label just like they do stickers on the cars before they buy them.

  • @scarlettsmommy01 Wouldn't the comfort level be even higher if you didn't include synthetic latex mattresses? On your web-site you say it would be 90% satisfaction rating if you didn't include the Simmon's Nature Care or was it Kings Down that has a very high dissatisfaction rate? Please clarify for us.

  • I bought a Novapedic and loved it AT FIRST, then after about 5 years I could hardly sleep on it because the foam (all foams) break down and it sinks to much. Foam is OK for the top pillow as long as it's hard. But i've become a believer that you must of springs or some kind of dependable support for it to last.

  • brilliant info thanks!

  • Thanks Kindly. Much appreciated. I'm currently mattress shopping and am considering a latex mattress. Also, great website!

  • @MarieSoleil33 did u get the latex mattress?. im shopping for one now..

  • Nice review. Thanks for the effort.

  • Thanks very much Nick. I'm about to buy a latex mattress. Had one in France and they were some of the best nights sleeps I've ever had. Well worth every penny so I'll buy one for my bedroom in the UK.
