"Some try to justify abortion by claiming that the product of conception, at least until a certain number of days, cannot yet be considered a personal human life...In reality from the moment in which the ovum is fertilized, a new life begins which is not that of the father or of the mother but of a new human being which develops of its own accord. It would NEAVER be made human if it were not human ALREADY...This has always been clear, and modern genetic science offers clear confirmation."
Obama indeed seems to be offering a people's government solution to all human problems. He is, after all, running for President of the United States, not for a pulpit. Substituting the state for God as provider has been the inherent common thread in all Marxist regimes.
Obama is the most "left wing" senator. he votes for the killing of babies who Jesus brought through the murder scene and says "they didn't get it right the first time, ah just leave 'em on the shelf TO DIE." then this ad comes out talking about "the least of these..." who is lesser then a child still in the womb. according to the Jesus of the gospel's even children in the womb have rights. Obama needs to decide where his views are, they change more then stop lights.
The Freedom of Choice Act that Obama wants to pass & sign would prohibit pro-life people from living out their faith. What kind of a Christian says a person cannot act to protect and serve the most vulnerable--the unborn.
I don't care what kind of health care or services you provide--If a person isn't allowed to live, they can't use any of them!
Voting pro-life isn't being a single issue voter--it's realizing that LIFE is what underlies all other rights and must necessarily come first!
I would not want to attend a church Matthew25 supports. This election should be without this .Using bible to endorse any body is wrong. Gods word is holy Please do not use his words to further caesars of this world
Wow, Betty908, how can abortion NOT be an important issue in this election?
Obama, endorsed by NARAL, wants to continue to take my tax dollars to pay for abortion on demand - what other medical procedure can you name that is offered like that? And what other "procedure" kills another person?
You've lost your heart if you think that poverty is more important than abortion. After all, Jesus said the poor would always be with us." He didn't say the babies would all be dead.
"By the way, we also had a bill, a law already in place in Illinois that insured life saving treatment was given to infants. First, as stated above, the Illinois Attorney General noted that Illinois law that, in Obamas words, insured life saving treatment was given to infants DID NOT apply when the infant was INTENED to be aborted."

I support Barack Obama for president. Single issue voters are welcome to have their beliefs and to hold them dearly. But single issue voters are not welcome to hold me or my family hostage to their beliefs. To distill a decision as difficult as terminating a pregnancy to the brutal terminology espoused here seems to me to represent a complete disconnect from civil discourse. Are we a nation where disagreements can be civil or do they need to always be bombastic? I support Barack Obama.
Per your own quote in Luke...Obama said he doesn't know when life begins should be deemed human. His words, "it's above his pay-grade".
Some honesty please. Just say it's a baby & you don't want it. "Let government take care of my problems" Mostly what I have seen from THIS crowd is "do as I say - not as I do". Maybe a reading of the Constitution & a rereading of the Bible might add some clarity. Church vs government - Who's responsible for what!
You can not be a born again Christian if you support killing babies, infanticide and gay marriage! The emergent church is heretical. All one must do is read the Bible to find what God's heart is towards these matters. When we intro science, etc into the equation, we are making ourselves God.
As long as Obama and the heretics live, they have the ability to repent and truly receive Christ as their Savior. True Christians must remember that we cannot judge them but are called to pray for them.
When anti-choice protesters blocked the opening of an Illinois Planned Parenthood clinic in a community where affordable health care is in short supply, I was the only candidate for President who spoke out against it. And I will continue to defend this right by passing the Freedom of Choice Act as president.
Barack Obama (in his Statement on 35th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade Decision):

Life doesn't begin at conception and end at birth, and we need to take a holistic approach to the ENTIRE message of the Bible, not one or two cherry-picked verses on one or two limited issues. That's why I support Obama for President.
Obama once President wants to pass the FREEDOM of CHOICE ACT. If done FCA would Nullify any existing state laws regulating & restricting abortion across the board.
He also voted "present" effectivly a NO on the Infant Born Alve Act in IL. Even when the bill was reworded as not to threaten any existing abortion laws he still avoided it. Once it PASSED he said he would have voted for if it.
"Number one," said Obama, explaining his reluctance to protect born infants, "whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the Equal Protection Clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what we're really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a -- a child, a 9-month old -- child that was delivered to term.
