The Freedom of Choice Act that Obama wants to pass & sign would prohibit pro-life people from living out their faith. What kind of a Christian says a person cannot act to protect and serve the most vulnerable--the unborn.

I support Barack Obama for president. Single issue voters are welcome to have their beliefs and to hold them dearly. But single issue voters are not welcome to hold me or my family hostage to their beliefs. To distill a decision as difficult as terminating a pregnancy to the brutal terminology espoused here seems to me to represent a complete disconnect from civil discourse. It is Christian money supporting this PAC with the clear purpose and intent of furthering its gain of influence and power within the government and its elective processes. Christian churches, clergy, and various organizations are openly touting this PAC and urging support -- "money". It is simply another sleazy maneuver to usurp the constitution and get around their tax exempt status by using this new method/tool as a means to do so.

Yes that particular bill and its title may be dead, but all of it's provisions are still being tweaked and very much being actively sought via legislation in D.C. by Christian (church backed/supported) organizations. The bill that will ultimately pass, because the atmosphere is much more favorable for it now than recent years, may have a different name but the same "guts".

Sounds like asserting that one candidate is a better Christian candidate than the other necessarily casts judgement upon another's faith and witness. Sound like "casting stones" to me.

Additionally, actions speak louder than words. (Much like Christ's sacrifice meant more than anything we can pick and choose in red ink). Shouldn't we be evaluating a candidates Christian credentials on their record or their apparent lack of one?
