Hi Penn fans. Penn Says videos have been discontinued, so you won't be seeing any new content on here. You can check out our Profile on our Channel Page for more info. We'll still be checking in, so hope to keep chatting with you all! Thanks!
I have almost 200 gigs, and I don't particularly listen to all that much music. Hard drive space is cheap, and I enjoy the ABILITY to listen to whatever I want whenever I feel like it.
This explains my taste in music exactly. I'm mostly a classic rock fan. But I can get into classical, jazz, Motown, indie rock, or metal, even if those styles I don't completely prefer.
Finally, someone who understands lol. I've told people that I don't like Classical music and they all respond similarly- how can you not like classical music, it's takes so much talent, genius, and work and my response is always I understand that, I just don't like it and these people just don't get it, they can't make that distinction heh.
classical: joaquin rodrigo (panorama guitar classical) worlds of music compilation, john schecter field recordings modest mussorgsky: pictures at an exhibition rap: the beatnuts: street level digable planets: a new refutation of time and space rock: Failure: first album Firewater: everything, esp "Get off the cross..." Inti Illimani: musica de pueblos andinos
I don't think Penn needs to expand his musical horizons any. I remember getting my first copy of The Mole Show and laughing loudly when I recognized a certain gruff, familiar voice.
IMHO, Frank Zappa is as far as good music goes... you just can't get any better. I guess Penn is not a fan because Frank lampoons Dylan, The Beatles, etc. Though, he would probably agree with Frank's harsh criticism of TV evangelist.
hey penn ...i hope you actually read these comments ....if your really into expanding ur musical horizons...give these 2 bands a chance....TOOL..and ..MESHUGGAH
Hand jobs are the way lazy people phone in sex while they can use the rest of their body to do something else like watach tv. Everyone has a mouth and an hole so no excuses.
what about guilty pleasures. Music you love but if people found out you be ridiculed. this is mostly a teenager problem but can be a problem for anyone. what are you guilty pleasures musicially of course.
I'll assume that you're not a fan of Black Metal music. However, upon analyzing the structure in which the music is played by the genre's most talented musicians, one may find that there is a direct relation to classical music that nearly slips past the untrained listener's ear. The imagery used by many of these bands may be outlandish, but the artistic merit behind their works demonstrates the very finest musicianship and songwriting the underground has to offer.
If you could pass these questions along the vine it would be appreciated:
1 - What are Mr. Jillette's opinions on Zionism and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and how these effect Western life? Being friends and associates with many people from the Jewish community, Zionist or not, I'm sure Mr. Jillette has formed a solid opinion on the subject.
2 - Ginger or Mary Ann (or The Professor, you dirty bugger!)?
I feel the same way about good rap music. Good rap music is hard to come by, and I'm not just saying that because I don't like rap music, but when I do hear a good rap song and I just try to listen to the creative genius behind it . . . I can't really describe the experience. It just feels enlightening.
Can you honestly name on human living in The West who is over the age of 30 that has not heard this album? Save for a few Amish communities and perhaps the Disco crowd, I think we've all heard it!
I hate it when people refer to certain kinds of music as "good music". There is no such thing as good or bad music, it's just music that you enjoy and music you don't enjoy, because even if you don't like a certain band, someone else does, which means it isn't bad.
What about a butterscotch pudding hand job? Tapioca for the really kinky. LOL Please do more clips with your camera either at equal height or slightly higher than you are. I don't know why but it's strange and distracting to be looking up at you like I'm on the floor. Just a suggestion.
I feel that way about rap music. It's not my thing but the best of the genre works for me. Most of it just annoys me, but I cannot get enough of Run DMC. Those guys were infallible.
GOOD rap is listenable. For one thing, I like being able to understand the words. Also, the beat's gotta grab me. It's fun when there's something familiar used in a novel way there in the mix.
i get that feeling a lot when i listen to pop music, but not cause its good (couldn't be further from good) but because i listen to how the songs are processed and Mixed, cause im a total audiophile
Dude... if any hand job is the color of butterscotch pudding... I, uh, recommend immediate medical attention. For BOTH parties. Hehehe!
You're right about the music though. I don't normally listen to classical or R&B, but it's fun to sit down and listen to some of that particular genre, but only if it's good. Other than that, generally rap, R&B, country and classical doesn't really suit my tastes.
