The fact that Luke showed up at the hospital when he was just her friend told me she wouldn't marry Christopher. God this entire story mimicks my life/I feel like they stole the Lorelai story from me! I was dating one guy pretty seriously who couldn't tear himself away when my dad was dying / wouldn't even go with me, but my friend who was a guy was there the whole time, by my dad's side even. I married that friend. :O)

I just realized that the scene where Lorelai puts the character reference for Luke in the mail box, it is snowing and throughout the entire show, the snow is always a sign for Lorelai that she should do what she wants and it means something to her.

I was thinking of making an LC video how do I make a video? I agree I like LC because when you think aboutit Rory barely ever gets to see both her parents and gg. The first time she got flto spend christmas with her whole family was when her parents were married. Also chris hasn't really been a father figure to her at all. If anything Luke is more of a father. Like when luke,chris and lor, walked in on Rory and Logan both Luke and chris wr very protective they fought ovr who ws gonna kill Logan

She made a character reference and didn't tell Chris about it. He found the letter. He felt like she still has feelings for Luke. The letter contained stuff like, "Luke was always there for my daughter, he was a father figure for my daughter," She also stated she is a single mom when she was married to chris. Alot of stuff that really hurt him. When he confronted her she told hime that he was the man she wanted to want but she really didnt love him

Luke needed a character reference when he was trying to get partial custody of his daughter and Lorelai wrote a letter for a reference on him that was so glowing in praise of him and what a wonderful person he is and how he's always there for everyone/was there when her dad died, and how he'd be a great father,... Christopher found the letter and realized that she still loves Luke.

Chris is the father of Lorelai's child, Rory. He and Lorelai never had closure to their relationship when Rory was young, and he kept reappearing. Luke is the diner owner, Lorelai's best friend, and eventually her one love. They fell apart and she ran back to Christopher, married him, finally admitted they weren't right, and as the series ended, regained her relationship with Luke.

okay, I know everyone thinks Lorelai and Luke were meant to be together, but I have to disagree. Luke hid the most important matter he was dealing with (April being his daughter) from Lorelai. And Chris was totally up-front with Lorelai about the letter from Sherry writing that she wanted contact withe Georgia. Lorelai proposed to luke, not the other way around. and when girls propose to guys, you know their bound for disaster.

She and Christopher got married this year after she and Luke broke up. There were lots of complex issues going on with Lorelai through the whole thing. That's what this video's about. I made it after she figured out WTH she'd been doing and ended her marriage with Christopher.
