Well i think there will be another series, but Eve Myles is currently 5months Pregnant, and shes taking a year out from work to look after the baby, so that could link in with Gwen's pregnancy line, Oh cant wait for day 3 tonight, day two rocked, Gwen kicked their ass :D

well, its easy to figure out whats up with the kids

the kids that were abducted in 1965 were in fact, kids. the aliens, having about 20 kids in a spaceship worked out a way to control children and sent their message out from them. and the old man is chanting cos of the ligh that came out of the spaceship

think of the sycorax blood control episode, i think its gonna be somthin along the lines of that

My guess is that the Government made a deal with the Aliens back in the 60s. If Torchwood try and stop the Aliens, the deal will be broken and the Government won't get what they wanted out of it.

i dont think the show will be cancelled i think there will be a series 4 just the bbc have screwed things up reducing their budget and moving it from channel to channel which makes hardly any sense. it broke viewing records for bbc3.

It's not a budget thing. The writer and creator is Russel T Davies. He's been overloaded with work with the Doctor Who specials and because of that the series is a 5 part run up to link up with the next three specials of Doctor Who again. Season 4 hasn't been confirmed as yet but there are reports it's just a case of signing on the dotted line and a full 13 episodes coming in summer/fall 2010

Its in 5parts because there where budget problems this year not because its the last series or because RTD is leaving. He only wrote the first and last episode of this run so there are other writers that work on it not just him.

untrue zooropey, remember series 4 of doctor who? he DID make a good show of doctor who, but messed it up with series 4 when he thought that would be a good idea to set doctor who for 8 year olds and make it little more than looney tunes. I just hope Stephen fixes this.

Ah but as a child of the 70s I remember that Dr who was originally a children's programme - i think it's a tribute that it can work for both audiences - and us grown ups had Torchwood when we wanted purely adult content. So he is still a genius for me :)

The show now insults the intelligence of 8 yr olds. I hope he leaves after series 6. But I doubt it. His ego is too big. Too be fair though I DO LIKE CERTAIN aspets to certain episodes. It's just that the payoff at the end is always so disappointing for me and every kid I've talked to.
