It's an interesting euphemism. And I guess it's vaguely similar to the double-meaning of "massage" in most Western countries. "Massage parlour" is a common euphemism for a brothel, so genuine health-related massage centres need to specify "massage therapy". Even then, people still make jokes, and some massage-therapy places have discreet signs saying "please don't ask for sex" , or simply "no sex".
