  • what song?

  • Best African player ever!

  • Oh yes the good old days

  • what a player!

  • technically even Ronaldinho could not do what jay jay could...okocha was outrageously gifted

  • @feyzu66 exactly.

  • Jus a King

  • I'd just probably give passing ability to Okocha but Ronaldinho would be slightly ahead goal threat wise cos Okocha didn't improve on his Shooting until he was about 27.

Although Okocha might have been the better fk taker

Watch Nigeria vs Italy 94 w/c before you start writing off the older gen players.

I heard some sily person d other day claim Stocichov wouldn't get into this Barca team same as the real Ronaldo which is an extreemely stupid thing to say let alone think

  • Its all down to personal opinion and to be fair a lot of people generally underatte african players especially if they are black. I remember Eto'o turning Vidic and left him on the floor to score in the CL final and the english commentator said poor defending by Vidic.

As for as Skill/Technique goes; Jay Jay is at top, followed by Zidane, Ronaldinho would be 4-5 on that department.

Has anybody though seen what Okocha did to the great Oliver Kahn, Doubt Ronaldinho could have pulled dat off

  • he was very spectacular but not as effective as leader of top team should be...

  • 0:34 That just isnt possible...

  • 3:43 amazing :))))))

  • 3:39 Epic goal! (Just ask Oliver Kahn...)

  • HEY PEOPLE! HE IS IN THE LIST OF FIFA 100 made by PELE! I think tht's cool and he JAYJAY deserved it!

  • the free kick against aston villa was phenomonal

  • What we just saw was a single man humiliating the whole Premier League, Ligue 1 and even some nations. LEGEND!

Imagine the year Okocha and Ronaldinho played for the same team, WOW...

  • spielt er noch?

  • God, rejuvenate Okocha.. we'll give you Messi

  • ALSO look bfore you leap please i beg you ALL...watch Ronaldhino's games before he joined PSG he had no skills but after he left he was the bomb.when he arrived PSG simple history tells us okocha was the highest paid footballer in the whole of FRANCE!!!! had a burst up with Anelka cos Anelka claimed he was an indigene .Okocha due to politics made bench and Ronaldhino was drafted to 10.doubt me if you can the records are there.

  • @amitbutterfly .rofl youre na idiot.ronaldinho said jay jay helped him as a a player but thats all.ronaldnho had amazing skills before and after osg and while at psg.jay jay was never as good as ronaldinho.

  • @M10663 that is absolutely correct -- okocha was always better than ronaldinho. after all, he taught him all the tricks.

  • for the records pele himself named him among 100 living legends.when he came to limelight he was old already.he single handedly lifted bolton out of relegation that's why he's a legend there. He was great but didnt achieve greatness never even won the African footballer of the year.age cheat sucks

  • Jay Jay Okocha is the reason Cristiano Ronaldo looks under his bed before he goes to sleep.

  • wow...

  • this guy is the improved version of C.Ronaldo

  • @flanatico001 i'll fix this for you: cristiano ronaldo is an okocha copy gone wrong. okocha doesn't compare to others, others compare to okocha.

  • Ronaldinho is the brazilian Jay Jay Okocha

  • @SportsCaptured Sorry man, Ronaldinho is by far better than this guy......

  • @zumigunner sorry, dude, but okocha is by far better than that brazilian guy with the bad teeth.

  • @mardenhill That's your opinion bro, and I have to respect that. Although how Ronaldinho's teeth look are completely irrelevant because he's a footballer and not a model.

But Ronaldinho is way better for me, not as a matter of opinion only, but also because he's won much more personal accolades than Okocha has, and also more trophies. Ronaldinho is a legend, whether you like it or not.

You compare players by what they have achieved. So yeah.....:)

  • @zumigunner no worries, i just addressed him as "that guy," in reference to the way you mentioned jay jay.

ronaldinho might have been more successful, but he certainly isn't the better player. generally speaking, all those personal awards are like the oscars, a lot of hot air. in all seriousness though, it doesn't mean i have a problem with your opinion, just pullingg your leg a bit -- we have to agree to disagree on this one.

  • @zumigunner jay jay won the olympic gold with nigeria medal in 1996, beating brazil and argentina -- the latter two had ronaldo, roberto carlos, rivaldo, bebeto, juninho, crespo, lopez, ortega, zanetti in their teams.

ask anybody you like -- okocha is a legend without having played for barcelona or real madrid ... that is much more of an achievement. take care!

  • @mardenhill So basically, thanks for proving my point. Winning Olympics, isn't a personal achievement, team achievement man. I mean he didn't beat all those guys single handedly. Ronaldinho, player of the year twice for the FIFA world player of the year award.....so yeah.

  • @zumigunner i'm sorry, but what point do you mean? anybody can be nominated for awards ... there is a magazine that declares every year who the "50 most beautiful people" on earth are supposed to be ...

besides, as far as i recall, ronaldinho played in a team of 11 players as well ... all these awards he got were based on teamwork.

ronaldinho got more media attention, because he's brazilian, that's all -- if okocha was brazilian and not nigerian, we wouldn't have this discussion.

  • @mardenhill Right ok, yeah sure. That's good for you man. There's no point anymore.....because, apparently, it's racism right?

  • Whoa! That freekick @ 0:34 is prob one of the best I've seen!!

  • @boydanny3

If he had played for a bigger club he wouldn't have been as iconic as he was. I can't imagine the Fergusons and Capellos of the world would have let him wander all over the pitch juggling the ball. I'm glad he only played for teams like Frankfurt an Bolton. Great memories.

  • @Carvalho182 doesn't get much bigger than eintracht, fenerbahce and psg.

bolton was towards the end of his career, basically.

  • Well Arsenal and Juventus were interested when he played for Eintracht Frankfurt, but Okocha wasnt, he wanted to stay his contract.

  • Comment removed

  • If he had played for a more popular club, he would had achieved more, get more credits for what he brings to the table.

  • Love the celebration!

  • 2:19 What the Heck!!! AMAZING

  • obviously an immense player but would one of the top 10 greatest players really only play for clubs like bolton? sorry, he was good but never actually comparable to true legends of footbal such as pele, maradona etc.

  • There are a few players that really make my head hurt. Cos I just keep imagining how notorious they would be, had they played for a bigger club. Jay Jay Okocha is certainly one of these, Henrik Larsson is another (he did play for Barca, but really only as his ability was falling due to age)

  • He is a legend ! :)

  • Okocha: Let's dance a lil bit

Kahn: Oh no, please no! =S

... Kahn ends in the ground and Okocha enjoying his amazing goal, lol.

  • the passage of play at 2mins.... total football!

  • 1.17 would have been goal of the century if he scored

  • Songs name plz.

  • @KakOkefOs1 Manyou - Drifting Away

  • 47 people fear that okocha might come out of retirement and score against their club.

  • @mardenhill

Okocha is starting up in India, along with Hernan Crespo, Robbie Fowler, Robert Pires and Fabio Cannavaro

  • @TheJax619 yes, i read it -- it's awesome!

  • @mardenhill

That's gonna pick up the Indian league a bit i believe:p

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHA 0:44

  • He reminds me hotsauce in some of his reactions

  • 3:41 is epic :D

  • how this guy never played with any of the best clubs in the world is beyond me

  • @sidmfc1 he wasn't consistent that's why he had a few good moments and they very you may say inspiring but that was it! If he had been like Ronaldo or Messi consistently good then he would had! :)

    cheers m8!

  • @Zecalran he was in fact more consistent than ronaldo. and he played for some of the greatest clubs, no worries. ;)

  • @sidmfc1 he played for eintracht frankfurt, one of the best clubs in the world.

  • @mardenhill hahaa one of the best clubs in the world wake up moron

  • @sidmfc1 I'm sorry but he did play for Paris Saint Germain

  • @sidmfc1 he played for fenerbahçe :D

  • @sidmfc1 He did not want to leave bolton

  • I thought that, ronaldinho and zidane are god of football, but after this video, i understand that god is in three person

  • @pawel90ww exactly:

    1. augustine

    2. jay-jay

    3. okocha

  • so good they named him once, and the name stuck first time.

  • i enjoyed the vid, but seriously whats with the porno music?

  • i wesh i egypt had amizing players like jay jay and emanuel imoneky..rashedi yakeni.. martins.. but we are stupid dumass even the werld cup we could't get in it i know it 'shame to be egyptian and say that but it's the truth... so how can we make the history? but the fact we have no history all we do is is taking africa cup bu luck and cheatig.. fuck

egyptian football team and much love to jay jay okocha <3

  • Acho que não preciso explicar porque escolhi esse Nickname... JAY JAY OKOCHA THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Definitely one of the most underrated talents to ever play the game. He was at one point better than Ronaldinho, so much so that Ronaldinho couldn't break into the starting lineup at PSG because Okocha was THE MAN OF THE HOUSE AT TEH TIME. Just such a shame that he never got to play with a big club to really showcase his ability on a bigger stage with more people watching. He would have been even more of a legend had he played for a Manchester United or Real Madrid type team.

  • jay jay

so good they still call him twice

  • best african player

  • AFRICAN RONALDINHO

  • this's what the Cronaldo doing now copy from JAY JAY OKACHA

  • @Tube8Fei yes but cristiano is doing this with newschool style and okocha did that with oldschoolstyle. and oldschool is always better! in music, in sports, in movies and more

  • wow hes everything a real footballer should be

  • favorite part 2:19

  • when he was around i used to think there's hope for nigeria yet... now i'm just sad...

  • perhaps the best player of his tym!!

  • african footballing legend.

  • Ronaldinho: Thank God for teach me.

    JJ Okocha : No problem

  • one of the most skilled players i've ever seen

  • my ex boyfriend is Jay Jay okochas nephew

  • @cRAzYjOY12 good for you

  • (what's the name of the song)

Jay Jay Okocha was amazing! He played for fenerbahce and he was one of the best players in the whole world!!!

  • Amazing player...

  • This is by far the best and most underrated footballer to live in this world.

  • Jay Jay war die beste!

  • his precision with the ball was off the charts

  • so good they named him twice

  • 2.18 is top. Two times.

  • JJ7 :D

  • always been my fave footballer. imagine if hed been signed by the likes of liverpool at the time

  • The best football player i saw in my life is JJ OKocha!!!!! Honest appreciation

  • Had he played for a huge football club in his prime, he'd be a lot more famous today. He should have been with Man U or something.

  • JJ was great, however his inability to get the SuperEagles into the 2006 World Cup will forever haunt him, along with all of those shots he missed vs Denmark in 1998.

  • J.J is gr8!

It just pains to see him leave the game without even being awarded as Africa's best.

The skills he instigated still lives though.

  • It's just a shame he never quite lived up to his massive potential. Could have been a true great instead of a very good player with flashes of greatness.

  • Okocha the best ever

  • in germany we call the one at 1:00 "the okocha" ... and his goal against kahn was amazing

  • okocha the best nigerian player ever .. the best nigga

  • And now show me Beckham doing one of this tricks! just one.

  • Jay Jay okocha. The teacher of skills ... it's not fair for this player, under rated players.. Racist ..

  • Extra ball 4:45? :s

  • @32wallace, can you explain the reason why Messi COULD NOT record one single at this last world cup? FIFA"S world best player? Huh? Yes, Messi is a great player no doubt, but Okocha was an amazing star when he was playing- a very intelligent player.

  • Respect from Brasil !

  • It's a shame how his career went, he had the talent to become one of the greatest, but somehow he wasn't able to pull it off in every game or at least in many. When i was a kid he played in german Bundesliga, i loved to watch him, he was my favorite player. Funny thing is, he does all the stuffs CR does, but with way more style and more charisma. Thanks for alot of fun, Augustine JayJay Okocha. :)))

  • He shoots the penalty shots always right

  • Okocha was the best, the most talented player.

  • 0:00-6:45 best

  • What's the name of the song?

  • Okocha is much better than messi

    okosha e ronaldinho the best.

  • @neenem10 nooo

  • 4:10 is an absolute peach!

  • iv come back to watch this again and again. he was unbelievable, incredible talent. the best player i never heard about. i cant understand how he was wasted on the smaller clubs.

  • I was going to say jay-jay is the Nigerian ronaldinho but I think I shall say ronaldinho is the brazilian Jay-jay Okocha!

  • @zimzima888 Difference is that ronaldinho was effective, whilst okosha, well, he played for bolton, nuff said.

  • @zimzima888 Ronaldinho has acknowledged that Jay Jay taught him some tricks at PSG

  • @zimzima888 the funny thing is they played together for the PSG!

  • one of my favourite all time players! so underrated its not right

  • dayuum.. poor arsenal hehe

  • most fun player to watch he plays with no worries like a kid in the playground letting is imagination run wild. this vid contains everything i love about football!

  • @grillaaaarv and those players are the best in the world

  • PSG had the best players

  • so good they named him twice as someone said! :)

  • We never forget you!!! thx Jay Jay for your goals for Frasnkfurt ;)

  • @TheBlaubarschdude

    ja - unvergessen bei uns

  • 5:37 ronaldinho

  • Drogba ain't got shit on this guy

  • no joke but i think a big reason for his brilliance once he was in the top tier of football is that he had fun! never lost the joy of playing the beautiful game and thats y i love him

  • 45 people can't even score from 2 meters !

  • `who is messi ?

  • wat is the name of the song!!

  • This man Should Be In the Elite Class Of Football

  • they just dont come like this anymore

give me player at the moment that has the same quality as okocha

    just fuckin amazing

football from the 90's and early 2000's was a golden age and much better than now

players were physical and agressive not soft and cunty like most players now the players played the game the way it is supposed to be played

players like ronaldo (the only one ronaldo) zidane baggio r.carlos bergkamp maldini batistua henry figo romario mathius raul the list goes on

  • @grantrfc11

Are you joking Barcelona is possible the best team ever to play the game. Messi has scored over 90 goals in 100 games, C. Ronaldo is also just incredible. There's also Sneijder, Tevez, basically the whole Spanish team. Football is amazing now and is was a decade ago. Stop talking shite you idiot.

  • @32wallace .lol barcelona the best team to ever play the game?the only one won champions league and that was after cheating ot chelsea as much as i hate cheslea.no you dont have as many great players now a days even though they use the rubbish plastic footballs.

  • @32wallace .cronaldo is not incredible and neither is that fat cunt tevez.lets zidane, laudurps, baggio, piero, batty, berkamp, giggs,a shit load of other amazing players, now you have ?messi,c ronaldo, xavi and?lol.please be joking.

  • @987costa

I don't really understand when you think football became not as good you mention Baggio who retired in 04 and Giggs, who is still playing now. C. Ronaldo scored 39 in 39 in La liga, more than the other Ronaldo ever did. They are both amazing players, don't make yourself look like an idiot and say him and Tevez aren't good.

All those players you mention weren't all great at the same time football always got a couple of incredible players.

  • @32wallace ,the other ronaldo missed 2 years thourgh injury in his prime and wasnt even the same player you asbolute idiot.c ronaldo is nowhere ronaldo pe injruy dont even kid yourself. baggio retired in 04 aand kept bresica in seira by himself, thats how good he was.tevez is great but has nothig on the other players i mentioned.listen if you follow football you will know htat amazing technical players are on omplete decline.baggio, laudrup, maradona, bergkamp, etc now oyu have mesis, cronaldo?rofl.

  • @32wallace mate, you know and i know that half that list you mentioned are either cheating diving bastards, money grabbers, or pussys who fake injuries. Fair enough Messi is fucking class but the rest of that list are nothing compared to the old days.

  • @grantrfc11

Shut the fuck up you moron. Zidane- most expensive transfer Figo went from Barca to madrid! Cruff jax to Barca, R,Carlos moved to madrid. There is no rapid chneg footballer are the same. YOu're such a stupid cunt, fuck off you stupid child

  • @32wallace .of course there is a change.football now is more physcial. peopple like c ronaldo are not incredible.hes a great goalscorer but people like matt le tisier had mre talent in one toe and none of the divng, ego, media hype of cronaldo.i dont need to argue with you, the difference in the quality of players at the top of the game then and now speaks for itself. you can count the number of exceptional technical brilliant players on one hand now, impossible back then.

  • @32wallace .yes youre irght football always has great players like messi, xavi, etc now. again do i need to spell it out fr you?te number of quality paleyrs now is nothing to what it used ot be. and of ocurse giggs, baggio, laudrup, etc, etc were all playing in the same time.pace of the game now means less and less quality technical genius players and means more fitness frecks, greater athletes with less actual football talent.

  • @32wallace Fair enough with Messi, Ronaldo also, but Sneijder isnt up there with the rest, and Tevez? well, for someone who doesnt want to play for their club you cant really say much,....

  • so good they named him twice

  • beckham gets schooled at 4:34

  • yahooze would be the perfect song for this video

  • Music Wrecks It! Awsome Vid Thoo!

  • played all his pk to the right...

  • he and george weah are pretty much my fav. players from the 90s. okocha is def. underrated, but the big problem with okocha was is that after he left fenerbache his choices for which team to play weren't good for his career, paris st. germain and bolton weren't good for him. he should have returned to the bundesliga ! i'm sure that would have gave his career a big boost.

  • Fucking music!!

  • LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • como chama a musica

  • what name song

  • Sir jay jay okocha u are the best ever midfielder, i miss those great times. my thanks

  • thats ronaldinho at 5:36

  • Comment removed

  • People please...Whats the name of the song?

  • and i thought the playstation was unrealistic

  • you look on thuis vid 800kviews look on ronaldo 30million, Okocha was 10x the man and player he is! Thank you for blessing my team and my town with your ability & amazing skills as a footballer and a real genuine person.Bolton till i die!!!

  • man why havent i heard about this guy? hes ridiculous his moves are amazing. hes better than christina gaynaldo

  • jay jay why did u retire from active football.

  • Why did jay jay have to leave football.i miss all these moves.

  • Why did jay jay have to leave football.i miss all these moves.
