Great video. There is a lot that can be done even at an individual. Every bit does help, I just wish we would stop preying for something to happen and make it happen are selfs!
That is eight, blame the people, you good for nothing government of criminals. A motor was built that uses less gas; your government owned car company bought the rights for this engine but won't make it. Houses are built with materials that allow cold and heat thru. Cars are built to eat up gas. When a flying car was invented in 1970, you government & oil industry killed him. You keep the people terrorized, have little freedom, regulate and dictate what we do, yet allow corporations to loot us.
At least he half admits that we are in deep trouble... We are a liquid fuels economy which renewables can't replicate..... no wonder Buffet bought up the railroads....
@switchgrassfuel Here are some detailed informations about the fact that renewable energies cannot solve the whole issue : manicore.com/anglais/documentation_a/renewables.html
good speech. I think that speech is a step in the wright direction on a topic that needs to be addressed. the internet clams that Industrial HEMP could be a good fuel source. and has 25000 different uses like paper, plastics, rope, exc. If the government could verify this info and determine if their is a difference between industrial HEMP and weed. they could legalize HEMP and start many different industries. that is if their is a difference. I haven't studied it enough myself, so i don't no.
@switchgrassfuel Actually, by looking at the numbers you'll notice that there is no other primary source of energy that could allow us to sustain the way of life we have now. A part of the solution is, IMHO, in fact to use more energy efficient products, to produce energy by clean means. But a part of the equation requires us to accept that the world we live in right now, is based on something we just can't reproduce for 2 more decades without oil. And that supposes that we change our habits.

@ENDUSANOW you can't blame the government and the corporations. We all are responsible for the dead-end we're in right now :)

We could make ethanol out of ocean kelp to make all the fuel we need and use all the byproducts as animal feed.
