  • @Lynxboy252 We have used "The Navy Hymn - Eternal Father ...", you can read it at the end of the video.

  • Our cabin, 111, was the fifth set of portholes back from the bow in the area painted white. I find it amazing that it was the last part of the ship to disappear. Don't forget to check out my SS American Star vids here on YouTube.

  • From the people of USA, thanks for such a moving video and tribute to a once beautiful, proud ship and the sailors and soldiers who sailed on her. We are loosing our WWII veterans at about 1500 a day. Thank God for the men of the greatest gereration.
