Wasting 6 months of your life building this. Buying thousands of dollars of tools you will never use again. But having a wonderful piece of craftsmanship that you can enjoy with family and friends is priceless...
very nice! beautiful place. just wondering why the dome fell short of height and why did you place it almost in the center of your green lawn? really liked the numbering on the bricks!
How do you get the parabolic form ? With what material under the first brick line get the shape of semisphera? That could be of of help for me I'm trying to do an oven like this looks very nice. Thank you.
i must say, i think you did a fantastic job in building this. i just completed my oven an as anyone who built their own oven, i am as excited as hell... i hope you all the best and enjoy your oven!!!
@novidog sorry for the delay in reply but i dont think i am anywhere near you... i reside in Malaysia, South East Asia. Let me know if you want to visit this country... it has much to offer and so does my oven
sorry other question that is makeing me crasy and is , that if i should or i sould not put glass o salt under de oven foor as i was watching lots of videos and lots do it and some others dont so i dont know i see that you did not use but is it work ok or not ? really sorry if i am bothering you and thanks again
I've a question, u have inserted the iron bar into the bricks, but after u have fill with cement or not? Why u have inserted the iron bar without cement?

Why did you drill the concrete to put in the rebar? Wouldnt you save time/ energy/ pain to put in the rebar before you poured the slab?
goldfingerly 2 years ago
i didn't have enough rebar when i poured it.

On the slab under the oven and for insulation over the bricks on the dome I used a mixture of vermiculite and cement.
