  • That was way cool!

  • The best of material art

  • its the instrument that starts at 1min 15sec lol

  • anyone know what that instrument is in the background?

  • قعزذذقلرتتتلاابداتغبلعرنذنخذنتدرنتあなはだゆに mga gagong suput!

  • สุดยอดครับ สวยงาม น่าเกรงขาม

  • bravo !!

  • Such unessecary movment...but i like this

  • @luvdatmetal not that much man they're having fun but the only Thaildand and Japan, I'm talking asian countries, were not colonized by europe. Both of these countries had great fighting styles fighters.

  • @JohnnyxCash drunken sentence.. the only asian countries that were not colonized by europeans were Japan and Thailand

  • @JohnnyxCash and Korea was colonized by Japan.. hahaha stupid human beings

  • Maser Lamp was faster than light lol

  • Is this the origin of KALI??????

  • Great.เยี่ยม

  • awesome one handed sword battle

  • สุดยอดครับ

  • I don't think it's choreograhped but since it is an exhibition they are using fancier strikes & letting up if they are going to make contact.

  • skills!!!

  • @parisss24 READ CAREFULLY. Krabi krabong is meant for close quarters combat.

Weapons such as crossbows, arrows, or firearms are used for Long range combat.

Martial arts such as boxing, muay thai, judo, etc is called unarmed hand to hand combat.

Today's special soldiers have to be well versed with all weapons and fighting to styles for any combat situation. Therefore your comment was also out of context. Good day.

  • is this coreographed or is it real?

    cool either way!

  • Neither as far as I know. It's not coreographed but the strikes are meant to be blocked (as far as I've been told)

  • excelente!

  • awesome

  • Yep, we do a similar thing in Kali called palit-palit, constantly changing up, the goal? hit the guy with a legit strike that with a blade would have opened him up. Sometimes we did use steel, and it was a first blood match. You have to really trust your opponent to do this kind of training, injuries do occur.

  • I agree with benqmp3, this is a training game, but not fighting. and I agree this is the best KK vid, the others totally suck (exept the Ram Daab one, it's a nice one and at least they don't call it fighting).

  • curtrod, as I said they are good. Don't have to beat yourself up like the DB, but you should feel the blows AT LEAST. just try it, pad some sticks and spar with a friend. that master would probably beat me, and it won't look like in the vid either. who cares in the end...if you don't try it urself u won't know. l'm not looking down on anyone, just speaking from my experience

  • thanks for your gentlemanliness mr. silva!, sparring is sparring, and fighting is fighting, mma is somewhere inbetween, I agree that taking blows is necessary to prepare for combat, seems that thai fighters ALL have that experience, anyway, perceiving another's skill level from their demonstration or any movement is NECESSARY too!, or else you may lose before the fight even begins...peace

  • Just kick Wanderlei in the nuts!

  • It's real training game.

    Master vs student,

    Not demo like other vids.

  • Fu#king fantastic!

  • Awesome!!

  • it's not demo...it's the real one as a game...after you learn more and more...it's a game...not demo

    i'm thai people

  • Thats a true master at work. Very nice demonstration. I doubt that was rehearsed or choreographed which makes it all the more impressive.

  • Wow, very nice...

  • Mainly dead-pattern moves, they guys are obviously training partners and know each other.Thai sword is beautiful and effective. The guys here are good at what they do and fast but this is just not realitic.

check the Dog Brothers for realistic/real practice

  • Some Dog bros use Krabi. Sanford comes to mind.

  • wow!, THE wanderlei silva?, anyway, these guys totally realistic and the master'd probably whup yer ass with sticks or swords!, people really don't have to beat each other to bloody pulps to prove effectiveness, that's the monkey mind brother!

  • these guys ARE totally realistic

  • in case you don't already know this, the dog brothers also do krabi-kabrong. They have great respect for it and have incorporated it into their fighting.

you have to have dead pattern moves for practice.

  • yeah... and if you have a live blade you better practice your patterns!!! HAHA!

  • Demonstration yes, rehearsed/choreographed no.

  • I liked the 3 Vs 1

  • great vid

  • loved the 3 on 1 demo. would love to see krabi krabong at its fullest though using proper Thai swords

  • thai sword is a meh for thai ppls since fine blacksmith in thai is very very rare, usually, only the royals and the private troops have a costume made sword

the ones you commonly see among footsoldiers are the most basic form of sword in the history of swords

  • @joemadly I would say that all swords that the common soldier fought with were of a mass produced "cheap" quality whether it be thai, korean or german.... I am not sure where you get that fine blacksmiths in Thailand and very very rare? Do you mean now or before tha 20th centuary? I view a web page dedicated to "dha" sword (Indo SE asian swords from Thailand Laos Cambodia and Burma) and I would say that many have a design close to that of a Katana without the guard. They look quite nice to me
