OK Computer: best. Mainly my opinion, but whatever. Kid A: second best. Beautiful songwriting, plus it was unconventional. (And a big slap in the face to those expecting another OK). Amnesiac: lame. Some nice moments. Mainly Thom doing whatever he wanted with a computer... and keeping all of it. Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows: good combination of their styles. The King of Limbs = decent, but it seems like they're drifting back to the borinng Amnesiac style. But this is all just my opinion.

People always rant and rave about The Bends and Ok Computer, and I'm not saying that they aren't fantastic albums, but I've listened to Radiohead for a long time, and it seems obvious to me that anything they did after or during their Kid A sessions has surpassed anything they did in the nineties. With Kid A, they really started to innovate, and reach their full potential.

@mrmchpisto I disagree, I think Kid A is their best, I mean Kid A is where they really destroyed people's conception of what alternative music really could be. But I think almost every album they've released is brilliant, and its really personal opinion about which masterpiece is better than another masterpiece, seeing as they've released so many masterpieces. The King of Limbs is a grower too, it keeps revealing itself to me more, it really is a beautiful record.

Give it a a couple of years, The King Of Limbs will be revered as a classic. Its only with time we've learnt to love kid A, at the time it was a controversial album.

@evolutiontheory It's not that TKOL takes a long time to sink it. Some people just don't like it. Music is an art and is therefore subjective. For me, some things about Kid A sunk in right away and some other aspects of it took time. With this I don't get the same feeling. I think Radiohead succeeded in what they were trying to do on this album, but it dosen't do it for me. It's not the experimental qualities that draw me away from the TKOL but the songwriting and the production.

i think Radiohead needs to do a tour with The Mars Volta. the mars volta is very spazzy and energetic as well as mind blowing so they should go first, then radiohead to calm everyone down and end the night. they both have that experimental and artistic style of playing thats juts hypnotic and yet powerful. It's like they were children born of the same parent but with different mannerisms but same personality. .....thats why theyre my top 2 favorite bands of all time

I'm SO sick of hearing reviews saying how King Of Limbs is "inaccessible" or "obscure".

It's not. It's like this song. It's the band having all 5 members attacking a beautiful melody or groove, but from really dynamic and divergent angles, creating arpeggios and rhythms and vocals and basslines that connects with each other at bizarre junctures, but still connect. Can did it, This Heat did it, The Pixies did it. Reviewers today aren't educated enough musically to hear it anymore.
