Al Gore received more votes from Americans than George Bush in 2000. That's a fact. Republicans prevented people who would likely vote Democratic from casting votes in Florida. What does that tell you?

That's why they're leading in both houses of Congress, and the executive branch - WE voted them in! The real America favors Republicans, even though many of us may not like that, it is undeniably true.

It's hard to say. Democrats are still behind by many seats in both House of Reps./Senate. I wouldn't be suprised if the Republicans retained their control. (Sorry if i'm coming off over-pessimistic, but this is my take from looking the numbers which really can sway any way)
If you ignore Florida 2000, Georgia 2002, Ohio and New Mexico 2004, FL-13 in 2006, and countless other less-publicized races, yes. Oh, and if you count scaring someone as convincing people they agree with you.
