You have actually recorded pretty much about lives in there. it really show the real situation of burma. they are may be some poeple are rich but majority of burmeses are very poor.some part of the contry has still no electrcity and no telephone.i am now in ireland but the place i was born was still in darkness. i am now 27years old but my village has nothing changed.i can not phone my family.

from first comment, I can assure you that the traffic in BKK is twice as bad as traffic in Yangon. Also I can find buses and taxis as shit as your and your Dadddyyyy taxi ride in Yangon. If you only paid a few hundres kyats more than you can have the taxi with A/C, as you know what you paid is what you get. Since you guys were so cheap you probably stayed at the inn out side city limited.

Burmese are always blaming others- Chinese, Indian and foreigners. Chinese and Indian are poorer than Burma in the beginning of Independence. Then, Rangoon airport is one of the largest airports in Southeast Asia. And also the economic was. Why don't they blame on Ne Win? Why don't they blame on the Generals?

Yes, I know in the downtown area but outside of that there's hardly any. The police chase him off the street and he just sat on the sidewalk for the rest of the day...
it also kinda dangerous because on my first visit to Myanmar this yr water festival some ppl fill their gas in a container like the ones u normally would put 4 portablitity, and they would put it on the trunk of their car its dangerousand cars well. new cars as far as u can tell r arent tht seen a lot because the gov banned importing on new cars in 2000 and some wat r only old ones r imported from thailand and japan a permit for a new car can be bought but can be very hard
