Im into building lean muscle too and was taught that high repetition workouts increase sarcoplasm and sarcomere (the bulky puffy muscles body builders have) and that low rep strength workouts replicate myofibrils (dense contractile fibers like gymnasts have) What do you mean by short fibers and do you increase strength in high rep pullups?
@Rigotto90 An example,a regular bicep curl works on short muscle fibers and bulk, which is fine. What I mean by this comment is that I prefer to work many muscle groups at the same time rather than one muscle and that is what gymnasts do. For example, a gymanst will work biceps (and a lot more) by doing chin ups on rings. A gymnast would prefer that over doing a bicep curl.
What other women and many med find almost impossible to do, you do almost effortlessly. Understand you hold a situp record. How about going for a youtube record for reps in a 10 minute video? That would be a really impressive display of both your strength and endurance!
