Karachi Institiute of Heart Diseases....the idea was presented by Dr Fayyaz Alam in a meeting with the first city nazim Mr. Naimatumllah Khan, which was immediately approved by the ccity nazim and he constituted a project committe.He immediately started working on the project and within minimum time it started funtioning despite the hurdles from many sides.The citizens of karachi are lucky to have this institute with minimum fee as compared to other cardiac facilities.
