Wow! i just finished watching a few of your videos and really impressive, you really work hard and do a great job. also liked the guy that was just starring when he walked by, even though i would probably be doing the same haha
hey I was just going to ask you in your other video if you did ab wipers. These are good for intercostals and serratus, right? what do you think is best for upper abs?
Start out with knee raises then leg raises (all the way up toes pointed at the ceiling), Once you can do 8 to ten leg raises then you should be able to start the windshield wipers motion. When I first tried the 360 degree leg sweeps in my other video I COULD NOT DO THEM. My progress was very gradual. Hope this helps.
Discovered your channel by accident and became an instant fan :). Question though, but how did you prepare for this exercise? Did you do specific ab exercises to be able to do this, or did you just try it one day and see how far you got? I want to be able to do a human flag in 2010 and this looks like great strength conditioning for the obliques. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!
I started doing the 360 degree leg sweeps first. They are hard and work your obliques as well. They are shown in my other AB video so check that out for the form. But then once you master those definitely try the windshield wipers. You will allready have the basic movement down so it shouldn't be that hard of a transition:) Good luck on the flag:)
Great strength and technique. This is the only video I've come across on youtube where the windshield wipers are done correctly for that amount of time. All others should watch and learn. Good Job CW.
Holy cow - the shoulder strength needed to hold the torso like that. Good luck with your chinups, Crystal! Looking for you to break that record ... :)
Not only can you do windshield wipers, but you can put them on high.

I like hanging leg raises, planks, and slant board crunches with added weight:) The key is to do a variety I think.
