  • @h193013 yes

  • is the actress handicapped in real life

  • On what planet is "Name that Handicap!" and "Bowling for crutches!" Funny? That was just...lame.

  • i knew she was gay.........u could tell like so many of the stars......

  • Geri came to my school and spoke recently. She makes a great motivational speaker and her jokes are so much funnier now then they were back then. She's such a sweet and wonderful person and she signed a copy of her book "Walking as Straight as I can" for me and wrote "happy birthday" in it. It was my 20th birthday.

  • Again, none of her jokes are funny.

  • geri is not funny!!!!!!!! lol

  • tard

  • mrs garret was like only 35 when the show was on tv......

  • Geri is fantastic.

  • Also shout out to all my special needs babies who I take to school every day! They truly are a joy, and RIP Keira you were my niece by marriage, but God gave you to me, for 7 wonderful years and Mama Celeste loves and misses your sweet smile in the mornings and your joyful laugh when I picked you up, I can still hear you in there talking to the birds in the morning, Love you Pun! 1000 kisses for you forever!

  • I actually owe this episode I was elected to work with special needs children as an aid but my friends were making fun of it and I was a shithead, I really owe this because when I started school and that period after this aired, JOKE was on them. I loved it, and I got to take trips and stuff with my very special friends while they were stuck in class. Never regretted that time nor my friends I made lasting friends. RIP Shelly we all miss you still. Forever my children God Mom!

  • "I used to be a waitress. But they didn't like the way I tossed salads"

Takes a whole new meaning now...

  • Now that was a good episode. I work at a place with people who are handicapped and stuff like that. And this episode reminds how great they can be now matter what ya say. Oh and by the way, I love this show! The Facts of Life was one of my favorite 80's shows! P.S. Blair was my favorite. And yes, I like Jo too. She was my other favorite.

  • I would never make fun of "Geri" or someone like her in real life.

But she puts herself in the publics eye and puts her self on stage by being on a TV show.. And she looks pretty retarded.

  • HONESTLY no matter what anyone thinks, i do think Gerri is pretty, but she's a horrible comedian. I like her, but i hate her comedy. :) Shes a good actress tho :D

  • mrs garett is so funny when she screams like a sick person^^

  • Geri is beautiful and I love her lipstick I wish I knew what the color was it seems mauve but Im not sure lol

  • man shes a female version of john travolta

  • after all with her competitive feelings Blair was the one that really didn't consider Gery something to look at different way (the "in spite of" thing...)...she just looked at her as the cousin who steals her spotlight unconsciously recognizing her true merit.

  • Geri and Blair are so cute! This is one of the more touching episodes I think.

  • youd fuck anything

  • @skinnyminny25 Your mom's on my list. So's your dad.

    Now, blow me.

  • lmfao...

  • there are a few times during the series when blair really loosens up and its kind of nice. and i think it's hilarious when mrs G breaks into song at the end lol

  • Geri Jewell could have been another Seinfeld

  • youve got issues

  • blair need light up her cousin blair has problem not geri blair need to act her age be nice there nothing wrong with geri there is something wrong blair not geri geri is perefect as she is

  • well blair was still a kid or a teen so she was still growin up. If she was like 20 or something i would be like yeah you are totally right but blair was still learning

  • it's funny but geri was in alot of episodes for a few seasons, but never in the later years,,it would have been good to see her at the "over our head: time period...

  • wow, those jokes were really bad.....

  • i agree they were a bit scripted, but i admire the thought behind them, shes not taking herself too seriously. Being able to laugh at ones self and take a disability in her stride is an admireable characteristic.

  • @JennyFromTheVlog It took me 25 yeas to be able to do so

  • @JennyFromTheVlog After 26 years, I have just recently been able to. (blind in one eye since 3)

  • @JennyFromTheVlog Took me years (23) to do so.

  • GREAT Episode

been sitting around all day feeling sorry for myself cause of another disease

realized sometimes we gotta make it on our own

support each other but not each others stepping stone. I can't reallly explain, but fortunately sometimes with friends....you don't have to

  • like when the jopke was hey im your other end...tea for two...yeah she may be perfect...but who isn't

  • i think people should start saying isnt geri beautiful isnt geri hilarious why dont you just treat her or think of her like shes any other person. treating someone nice is good but over doing it is just as bad as making fun of them your still treating them like their different. jeesh

  • LOL... nice... that takes me back...

  • I'm just amazed that Lou Ferrigno had time to appear on this show while he was filming the Hulk.

  • 6.02- is that Dana Plato- aka Kimberly Drummond- I see behind Mrs G? I know this is a spinoff of Different Strokes- but we never seemed to see Kimberly...

  • you never see kimberly because she transfered to the same public school as Willis later on in different strokes so she hardly appeared in FOL.

  • You are if you say that.

  • well skywalker what do you expect for comments..your also ignorant
