  • the pattern is kick kick snare kick kick snare snare

  • @diperrimax Close. It's kick-kick-snare-kick-kick-tom-tom. The toms are cranked tight.

  • @translucentimp ahhhhhh my mistake aha

  • This is the 'go to guy for Beatles drum covers.

  • man, i always hated this song, but seeing and hearing just the drums would be nice

  • @bassharmonica1 How in the worl could you hate this song??

  • @shakedownstreet48 do you know what it is describing: the feeling of dying and what to do after you die.

  • @bassharmonica1 I have no problem with that, it's a great song.

  • Have you ever met Ringo ??

  • Very Nice!!!!!

  • This is EXCELLENT!!!

  • why couldn't you do a diddle on the left for the tom part???

  • you're great man

  • Awesome! What effects do you use?

  • do you have to use two hands on the toms?

  • awesome!

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  • GOOOOOOOOD!!!!1 EXELENTE MAESTRO , NO SÉ IPNOTIZANTE, ME HICISTE VIAJAR CABRON ERES UN DIOS DE LA BATAKA SALUDOS DE UN BEATLEMANIACO AL 9999999999999999% + 1 DE CORAZÓN DESDE MEXICO

  • drumming is superb. nice visual effects too!

  • is this conciderd poly rythm?

  • Good cover! by the way what is your real name?

  • One of the most frequently sampled drum part ever! Great rendition, I love how I can use your videos to show people Ringo is a great drummer! Thank you.

  • @realdocloco You should watch the Anthology. There's a part where George Martin, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr are all in the studio listening to the various takes of Tommorow Never Knows, and Ringo is bragging about his great drumming on this song. It's nice because it's one of the few times Ringo stands up for his talents. He's often so self-deprecating.

  • @Xmenfan246 : I have the Anthology of course

  • but can you move your head like ringo did?

  • Oh, and how bout you do all you need is love, thats a simple song, but great

  • nice

  • Excellent! Great sound you got.

  • psychedelic!

  • What kind of cymbals do you use?

  • Man this is cool. How do you do it?????

  • great as always

  • Great

  • I don't know how you keep at it! Excellent!

  • amazing, i love how you switched up the effects oh and of course, great job drumming

  • I think your playing is correct Koji-san, I listened to the song with very high volume and I think Ringo played it like you because I heard the cymbals going quiet for a little time when he played the toms.

  • Fantastic job

  • @simpson424 Thanks very much for watching and your comment, friend!!

  • Man this is what i have been waiting for. I think i asked you to do a cover of this a while ago. And its finnally come true. This is one of my favorite Beatles songs. I can play it too. I just play it differently. but great job as always

  • @thecclproject1 Thanks very much for your comment! Oh, that was good!!

  • Great, great, great, excellent, as usually :D

This song is quite simple to play, so if you want I can give you 3 advices:

-First, you can add a Tambourin on your Hi-Hat, and hit it.

-0:56 I think just before the strange solo, you have to hit the floor tom, but I'm not really sure (I can hear a different sound of tom, deeper)

-And finally I think you have to hit the tom with only 1 hand.

But it's only details, the whole cover is excellent ;)

  • @Yoshi4drums Thanks very much for your advise!

    1) I didn't have scope for using the tambourine, haha...

    2) Wow... I have not understood Ringo's drumming... I also can hear it on some parts... (bass, snare, bass, bass, floor-tom, rack-tom???).....

    3) I want to get strong tom sounds. So I played like this here.

  • amazing kozzy, but isn't it full time hitting the ride with the right hand and with the left hand making the dragon the tom (double hit)??

  • @choripanification Thank you very much! I hesitated how to play there.

Ringo might be playing rack tom twice by the left hand...

  • @6xxxemorockerxxx6 Thank you very much! I like all albums... It is hard to choose...

But I like the Beatles in the middle period.

  • JIZZTASTIC!

  • @MetalDrummer776 Excuse me, I don't understand about "JIZZTASTIC".

  • So are you playing (while keeping a steady beat on the ride): bass, snare, bass, bass, snare, tom?

  • @masterjoey1029 I'm playing... (bass, snare, bass, bass, tom, tom) in this video. Thanks.

  • perfect drumming, this is why i subscribe to you

  • @arturborucfan Thank you very much for comment and subscribing!!

  • Love this psychedelic Beatles number. I think this was quite inventive for its time. Nice to see how the drums were played...excellent Koji!

    All the best

    James

  • Brilliant stuff yet again, how did you get that bass drum sound? it sounds gorgeous! I don't have a drum set, but when I do I'd like my bass drum to sound like that lol

  • @DanWilkie90 Thank you very much! It is the usual sound....

But I used some effects. I think that it is a change with the compressor.

  • hey, i like the way the video is changing i guess it`s like the way of lennons brain when he wrote the song he. and as usual you nailed the drumming completely

  • @gejuje Thank you very much! I'm glad of your nice comment!

  • do u have another kit over to the right

  • @WelcomeWakinyan Do you see it? Yes, one more... Thanks.

  • batmankozzy, could you please do The Beatles songs: Cry Baby Cry, Savoy Truffle, Sexy Sadie. Thanks! :)

  • @Xmenfan246 Thanks for the requests. Sure... but... Please wait patiently.

  • To quote George Martin from the Anthology DVD, Tommorow Never Knows has "Ringo's very characteristic drumming."

  • @Xmenfan246 Yes, very characteristic drumming!

It has decided the color of this song! Thanks for your comment!

  • a great success over......

  • @tatu3670 Thank you very much, my friend!!

  • a great success over
