you have a very cool drumset and you played the cover good, but don't be afraid to hit your drums harder :) one more thing (I am not an expert), I am not sure, if you shouldn't turn over your china...I'm going to buy a china cymbal myself soon and I will turn it over with the other side up (at least that is the way i saw at many drummers) but maybe it doesn't matter, I don't know :) anyway, I wish you all the best on your journey in the world of drums!!! ;) greets from Slovakia
Thanks man. It had a few upgrades since this video. Check my latest video to see. :)
Yeah, I was terrified about hitting them too hard, but not because I didn't think they could take it, but rather 'cause the walls to my neighbours where paper-thin. ;)
huh, I'm gonna take a look at the china. It's supposedly the right way, looking at the logos, but it might sound different/better flipped.
It's a Paiste Alpha 15" Sensitive china, so I barely need to touch it to make it sing. :)
@alfsolli yeah, I thought of that possibility too that its because of the neighbours or sth like that, I had the luck to play with a band in a garage and later at home, so the parents had to live with the noise from time to time :) and yes, the china sounds sweet ... i bought new drums a few months ago and now I want to buy also some cymbals for a better sound, later maybe some mics as well to be able to upload some reasonable sounding drumming on youtube
