  • Apparantly it's a Napier engine 24 Lt W12. If you want to see it in the flesh, have a great day out at Brooklands. You'll love it

  • Well mixed. I've just come back from a day trip to Brooklands, Great day thanks to all.

Onto you tube & watched a clip of the Bentley hill climb (fixed camera) wanted to see more of this fantastic cars hill climb & came across you film. All the mixed clips brought the car to life, pity it wasn't longer, but then the hills a short run so what do I exoect. All the cameramen who contributed to the film should feel proud of the resulting film you created. Thanks.

  • @Mrchrisrobbins1 what napier is it? is it a V engine? or a W or an H ? surely not an H as in the Tempest etc that would truly be beyond any chassis

  • what a hill

  • yeah ive seen this a shelsley as well, it eats its tyres, on the side is printed "the ultimate laxative"... SO LOUD!!

  • hey i recognise that place. That's where the Hot Rod Hayride used to do hill climbing.

Nowadays though it's racing around a dirt track in the middle of the countryside, whilst steam trains puff along in the distance.

Best day possible, (if you have great weather!)

  • I have experienced this beast at shelsley walsh, they always put it on the end it is a big crowd pleaser if you can see past the smoke.

  • one of the greatest sounding cars ever made.

that and the 1973/74 Porsche RSR

  • Great video, but it would be better if the camera didn't keep changing.

  • hey thats some of my video..... no worries... glad you liked it.
