  • Oh man I love this!!! Excellent job!!!

  • your TV is big or you are small xD

  • peacefull.. ahhh love this

  • The Yopp brothers....They just got out of the charm school in Joliet Illinois. They made their own banjos in the prison wood shop.

  • :D that was awesome!

Men in shorts, playing pachelbels canon on BANGO'S.

it doesnt get any better ;)

  • ahahaha thats so freaking cool, i thought it was triplets at first

  • What soft did you use to make that clone effect?

  • I think this one was made using Multiquence. Each part was filmed in front of a green screen and then edited together. The fireplace is a photo of my living room.

  • nice

  • The link for the tabs that you have is broken, could you fix that please? I'd love to see this one.

  • There ya go. Thanks for spotting the broken link.

  • thats sick!

  • Classical music with VR cloning and electric banjo! So very post-modern :D

  • I play the cello and I am still learning how to play this song, but it is my all time favorite and I have never heard it played on a banjo, i have forever said I want this song played at my wedding and after hearing it this way I am dead set of having it played on bajos, maybe accompanied by a few other string instruments, you guys did a great job!

  • I have no choice but to give you 15 stars !

  • *grin* When I get my Bohemian Rhapsody project finished there will be a whole choir full of yopps. At 5 stars a piece, I should be able to take over the world.

  • I've tried that, but in my case, it was because nobody else would play with me....

Nice banjo work. I showed this to my daughter when she objected to me attempting to play it on the banjo.

  • Yep. I would much rather have people other than me to play with. The only bonus is that we think very much a like so we don't argue about the music much.

  • nice, i like it!

  • Thanks! Its a great piece of music, and every time I think I have heard it enough, someone does something completely unexpected with it and I love it all over again.

  • tabs... pretty sweet, but im looking for the banjo tabs, any ideas?

  • I can't believe I just saw what I saw.

I get the impression that musicians who have not achieved some measure of mastery in the art dread having to perform this piece. But you seem to enjoy it. I did not find it at all offensive.

Guess that means you've got some talent.

Maybe a sense of humor helps, too.

  • Thanks Lefty. Those other two guys are pretty laid back, so we usually have fun.

  • I always wondered on BHO how you got so much done - now I know - you are triplets...or you have been cloned - a more frightening thought. But this is seriously cool, and the music is good, too.

  • Yep, a number of people were shaken at the thought of more than one of me. Fear the Yopps

  • wats the instrument in the middle? is it sum kind of bass banjo?

  • That is a cello banjo. It is tuned an octave below the standard banjo. The range is actually akin to the bass strings on the guitar. Back when banjo orchestras were all the rage, true bass banjos were also played. Now days you don't see true bass banjos much.

  • Two words. Long Pants!!!!

I've seen better looking legs on a pool table!

    Seriously nice treatment banjoists unite!

  • *grin* So I guess my career as a panty hose model are pretty much over?

    Thanks for watching!

  • Only problem with this...wasn't long enough. That was just great.

  • Yoppy, Nice one! but can you do the entire performance, that would be good. This is a favourite piece of mine and I think the swelling and waning is the integral total effect of Pacabels' work here. Still I give you 5 out of 5 for the camera work alone! :)

  • Yop your the tops,

  • BILBO!!! It is most excellent to see you, sir!

  • What the...!

    Cooool!

  • Wow! How many of you Yops is out there? By christmas will we have Beethoven's 9th done by hundreds of Yops on banjos and singing? I'll be watching for it ;)

  • That is awesome! Wow, I would have never been able to imagine this song on the banjo. Very unique!

  • I am a firm believer in the idea that you should NEVER play banjo music. I just attempt to play music on the banjo. That tends to lead me to attempt all sorts of things.

    Thanks for watching!

  • fantastic

  • YOU ARE FREAKIN' ME OUT!!

Too cool. Banjeau Chucque would have loved it.

  • I watched Banjeau Chucque's videos. Man, I truly regret that I didn't learn of him before he left us. I like the way his mind works.

  • Ha, electric banjo is sick.

  • wait those guys look like the same person

  • Could I have the tab for the guy on the far lefts banjo please! Thanks

  • Check the 'About This Video' box. Its clawhammer/frailing.

    h= hammer on

    t= drop thumb

  • Beauty Yopp!

  • Whoa, that was amazing!

  • Wait, I just noticed they are all you, lol. Great vid. definite 5 star material, if only for the video fx. The song is very sweet too. Is that an electric gourd b'jo?

  • When you don't have anyone around to play with, you have to get creative. Thats the Yoppjo, my own design that is somewhat akin to the mountain banjos. The pot is pine and plywood, with a pine neck and rosewood finger board. I tend to build from whatever is in the garage. I ripped a piezoelectric disk from one of my kids' toys and wired it for a pickup.

  • I know what you mean. Most people I know don't even know what a banjo is. Wow, one day I hope to design & build my own banjos also (mainly gourd). I'm still enamored by the cello banjo, as it's an idea I've wanted to experiment with the moment I imagined how a bass banjo would sound. Great work.

  • Very nice pity you didn't go into the verse that would have been ace. Nice job.
