  • This is that one song, The one you randomly stumble upon, years ago, but you still constantly listen too it. <3

  • That growl is absolutely sick. Whats even better is when he sang his live, It sounded like a fuckin lion and i shit my pants. -_-

  • I have this song to thank for my fondness for death growls. The growl at 2:15 was the most brutal thing I'd heard in 2008. It's still one of my favourite Breaking Benjamin moments.

  • is Ben married?? if he is the bitch that married him better treat him right or else...

    this song fucking rocks >:}D~

  • Can somebody explain me the meaning of this song :)

    I dont speak english :)

  • @BeGouziGouzi No one knows. It's just.... no one knows.

  • ben is going SSJ at 2:15!!!

  • MAAAN this song is a very improved version. "Topless" is an improvement of the original song "Top of the world", look for Breaking Benjamin Top of the world, it´s a rare demo. THAT is the original Topless.

  • original song top of the world look up on youtube

  • press it 0:00 ti sserp

  • I LOVE BEN BURNLEY!!!!!!!

  • i want to have sex to this song. :D

  • ha "Topless" backwards is "sselpoT" +.+

  • No, you were analyzing the song by saying it was 'blatently [sic] talking about sex'. You and a bunch of other idiots keep saying, "Duh, it says 'fuck you/fuck me' so it's obv about sex, lololol!" I came in to say, "No, not necessarily." Anyone who thumbed up the comment did so because it explores the REST of the lyrics and how they build on the sexual theme. This song could also be about murder for all we know. Open your myopic mind and stop being such a tool.

  • @nexxudrine

You're right. "Meat on your bones, they won't know," could also refer to a murderer trying to hide the evidence of the body, and the murderer having a past relationship with the victim. Obviously, while the hints refer to sexual acts, rape and sexual activity is usually involved in murder crimes and the like.

I could honestly say that this song is more about a criminal murdering somebody he had a relationship in the past with, reminiscing of the past and focusing on the present day

  • @nexxudrine

As a continuation for referencing, "You got yours, and I got mine" could also refer to punishment; the subject's 'punishment' given from the criminal, and he in turn receiving sentence when he is caught (hinting that he is "open, wide open" to being taken into custody from the Police, due to all the Forensic Evidence and the such police have at their disposal).

There is more to this than just "sex," with so many links to murder and rape and criminal activity, etc. But who knows...

  • @TheGreatDarksol rape is sex, just forced sex

  • Epic.

  • 1:54-2:30

used to replay all the time.

  • why is there always 5 dislikes? those people have problems

  • i wud totally do it to this song LIke Me LIke Me lol

  • This song is alternative for sex :P

  • Why the hell does this have 135000 viewers, Wheres the mills Out :(

  • Who said you can't write cool songs about sex, anyhow?

  • I'm not really familiar with this band but whoever that is on the left, he looks funny :L

  • 5 people don't like to go topless. :P

  • I like Breaking Benjamin, but this song strikes me as a less awesome version of Korn's 'Blind'

  • "fuck you"? okay! :DD

  • GETTIN' HORNY NOW! Woops. Same state Wrong band.

  • Ben's scream at 2:15 is his most epic ever. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @xtreme527737 I know what you mean, X]

  • your not the only one who would love to fuck him and he can fuck me sinceless

  • oh Benjamin Burnley... I would LOVE to fuck YOU! and you can SURELY fuck ME :)

  • I can't be the only gutter-brain picking up on the sexual metaphor, can I? Maybe I'm just extremely perverted, but "Fruit on the vine - you get yours, then I get mine..." Sounds like orgasm etiquette.

"I'm on my way to feel you dislocate. Safe in your space, I'm open - wide open."

Sounds like the act of intercourse and the vulnerability that comes with it. o_O

    I'm such a horn-dog.

  • @nexxudrine hence the name "topless" hah:D

  • @nexxudrine lol he does also say "fuck you fuck me" xD

  • @nexxudrine Very insightful.... and yes it does sound that way

  • @nexxudrine You know the singer was always drunk when he wrote his songs (WAS). So you might even be right.

  • @nexxudrine cause it is about sex in a way and other things.

  • @nexxudrine the song is called topless so it makes sence that its about sex. it also says "fuck you fuck me" so there you go.

  • @nexxudrine It's called topless man, seriously how did you get thumbs up from this comment. I mean he says fuck you fuck me in this song. I am sure many people have said this, but is blatently talking about sex here. No metaphor needed. I should create a song called, "this song is about sex." And not have anything in it about sex.

  • @karmaofgood (Oh fuck me, here we go again...) Because we weren't talking about that line; we were talking about how all the other lines around it subtly explicate the subject matter. Enjoy the creative language, instead of dwelling on what you think is so obvious. See the preceding and following examples for how 'fuck' is often used without sexual intent. Fuck you and your shallow analysis of this awesome song.

  • @nexxudrine My shallow analysis, wtf, I was saying you were right. I was just pointing out that everyone knew what the song was talking about. You got thumbs up for pointing out the obvious, and that's fucking stupid. It's like someone see's this and says, "OH I GET IT SEX!!!! I AM GONNA THUMBS THIS MAGNIFICENT COMMENT TO HELL"!!!! Seriously, my analysis, I only analyzed your analysis. Man it's like you don't understand what you or I am saying.

  • @nexxudrine Horn-dog, or not, you're right ! ;)

  • @nexxudrine I was kinda iffy on being the first to say that lol, thank you for bringing that up haha

  • @sexxxudrine also the song is called "topless" so...

  • @nexxudrine Hmm, and "I'm on my knees, fuck you, fuck me" didn't tip you off? haha

  • @finnishmetalfreak090 That is an obious tip isn´t it?

  • @finnishmetalfreak090 also, the title...'Topless' o.O

  • @nexxudrine I'm pretty sure that's what the song is about, or something related to that.

  • @nexxudrine I know what you mean.

    I'm a corn-dog with you too.

  • @nexxudrine i love your face just get away---doggy style bro lol

  • @nexxudrine it is obviously a sexual metaphor but 50% of rock and metal is about love breakups and sex 25% percent is about death and the other 25% is about anything that could be angry

  • fuck you? okay! :DD

  • I'm not as into Breaking Benjamin as I used to be, but this is still one of those songs I'll listen to every once in a while, because it's one of their heavier, grittier songs and I like that.

  • @MrMike0113 its the 'nirvana' sound that you like. try hopeless or crawl

  • i love the part where it says "Replay"

  • 2:20 - 2:31 I LOVE ITTT

  • @KingAthem exactly... ;]

  • fuck a wife that leaves you, mine left me and got pregnant by another guy not even 3 months after getting married. karma is a bitch, i hope se dies. to bad it wont be by the guy she married.

  • Awesome rage mid-part!!

  • FUCK. Finally found this. First thought it was hopeless :|...

  • benjamin <3. Ofc ^_^

  • im in love with this song.! first time i heard it was when my friend DRAGGED me to a breaking benjamin concert. and i can honestly say i;ve loved them ever since.!

  • the start of this song and the start of 'Downfall' by TRUSTcompany sound almost the exact same. EPIC!

  • "You got yours, and I got mine"

I love ur face just get awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

"fuck you fuck meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Sure Benjamin ;)

  • i loveeee thissss songgggggg <3

  • i typed in topless and it first came up with tons of naked women lol

  • wow lol

  • Best grunge bands ever:

Nirvana,Alice in Chains,Breaking Benjamin. The list is over.. Oh Pearl Jam is good too :)! Add them too..! Now it's over:)

  • just noticed something.. this songs riff is a complete rip-of of the riff to Blind by Korn. and it also sounds like Downfall by Trust Company and Das Alte Leid by Rammstein.. WTF BB? Running out of riffs?

  • @Avzzor the riff also sounds just like the beginning of "hearts of the innocent" by kutless (great song, great band). so yes, they are running out of riffs. kind of sad.

  • @rtiffany17 yeah I know but Kutless Heart of the Innocent came after this song.. This song was first played in like 1999 as a live song... so I think Kutless ripped this off but yeah, it's sad

  • @rtiffany17 And the riff to Evil Angel is an complete rip-of f of the riff in Judith by A Perfect Circle

  • @Avzzor

no. you think they planned it out like that?

    no. just coincidence.

  • @sirmatthew13 I higlhy doubt that... Topless was recored in the late 90's when Ben was a Korn fan so I think he just ripped it of the same way they dd with Evil Angel and So Cold

  • @Avzzor I don't think Ben listenes to Rammstein;just guessing,Korn was pretty good in their early days;it might be just a coincidence the riffs are alike though I agree there is a certain resemblence but anyhow who cares,BB rock themselves on hard so there's no pont in complaining to much:D

  • @bloodyrockfire yeah I know but still the riff reminds me of Das Alte Leid ALOT except that Rammstein is heavier. Korn was epic but not anymore, I think they ripped of Korn because Ben has said in interviews that Saturate was inspired by Nirvana, Tool and Old Korn and Topless is even older then Saturate... BB's old stuff is good, their new stuff is crap

  • @Avzzor Rammstein and BB both rule;I know Ben's biggest inspiration was Nirvana but I really don't understand why you consider "Dear Agony" for instance;the songs on it are pretty good but heavier may equal to "Phobia"

  • @bloodyrockfire Dear Agony was entertaning but god awful compared to Saturate. It was uncreative, unoriginal and it didnt stay with the roots. Phobia is heavier then DA and had some of BB's best songs such as Topless, Breath, Diary of Jane and Unknown Soldier. DA is awful

  • @Avzzor unoriginal;well there's no garantie for that what's wrong with the idea of changing your sound;I agree "Phobia" is the heaviest;as long as you don't mess it up;I have to say though since "We are not alone" I didn't sense the same hard rock/grunge feeling;the last 2 albums are mainly good I still didn't get proper reasons for you to hate the last album;unoriginal and uncreative are not clear enough:D no diss to you mate

  • @bloodyrockfire Their heaviest album is Saturate. Dear Agony is uncreative because all of the songs on the album is almost about the same thing over and over.. Saturate had an wide lyrical themes (seriously what abnd makes a song about The Wizard of Oz or Polyamorous sexual relotionships) and DA sounds like any other modern rock band while Saturate was original and nothing anyone had heard before and it wasent radio friendly like BB's new stuff

  • @Avzzor yes;I have to agree with you radio friendly music is generally shit and limited or too soft in the lyrical topic I didn't listen to the album so much that I can really determin what each song is about but I do know for sure that "Saturate" has a slight sort of a dark edge.I really don't enjoy band selling out this way loosing their edge;I mostly prefer Godsmack over BB but ocasionally listening to Benjamin isn't that bad

  • @bloodyrockfire youre floating the comment section

  • @tomshkd1 well pardon me it's not my fault it's fussy sometimes.nontheless this song is a masterpiece and even DA is good even if it sounds more soft and friendly;if they truely sell out,we'll see when they release their next record, hope not;the lyrics are still meaningful to me at least

  • @bloodyrockfire got to aggre with that they are my favourte band but i got to say thats not the best song....

  • @tomshkd1 I don't really listen to BB much but I can pick some faovrites as well like "Sugarcoat","Believe","Follow" and this one

  • @bloodyrockfire Epic choice

  • @bloodyrockfire Depends what BB you like and what kind of rock you like. Godsmack is pretty good

  • @Avzzor coming to think of it I take back what I said about Godsmack;sure they do perform well but damn they ripp every artist off;I lost my complete bit of respect for them

BB's at least original and has some greater songs in my opinion;I like those tracks I mentioned earlier in a distinct view because they made me dance to them from the very first time I've heard them

  • @bloodyrockfire BB use to be original, not anymore. Havent listned to Godsmack much

  • @Avzzor yes their older stuff showed more inches of new ideas and inspiration;Dear Agony is different the music on it is pretty decent but not agressive anymore but I can give you an example of another good band;Oomph! remeber when they released their last metal album "Unrein"? and then 2 years later "Plastik" came along that I think was a bigger shock that "Dear Agony" is however Oomph never seemed to lie in their music;we're used to their constant shapeshifting a bit

  • @Avzzor I can give you another example wich proves the contrare of selling out;I think you heard of the trash/doom metal band Celtic Frost.they were doing their regulare job until they decided to experiment in recording and releasing a glam metal album;this event let their fans completely down condemning them for an assumed sellout operation but a year later the miracle has occured, they released a very good trash metal tape that turned the fans favour back not completely though

  • @Avzzor so anything could be happening with BB due their next upcoming album;meanwhile we have to wait until Ben recoveres form his reprofiled sobery;I'm still hopeful all though they were even on MTV's radar(that's the hook;unappropriate) though I'm not 100% certain;what I got to say about Godsmack. They seem to set an outline for a perfectly remasterd AIC band;they did when they were still a cover band;since they started to record original material they've reached their limit;lack of inspirati

  • @Avzzor ion;so far they only managed to put some tracks together using ripped off riffs and beats from certain bands;some tracks are donno....you could say it's their creation at the first lookup but nothing further;it's time for some examples, most concrete adn significant one,:Time Bomb" it has the same exact riffs adn rythm as NIN's "Last" track from the album "Broken" released in 1992.I know there might be some tilldeath smack fans coming to this video, believe me if it would have been a tribu

  • @Avzzor te they would have simply covered the song;the exact track as it was previously constructed;instead they wanted to prove they're "original" thinking the fans might not be aware of the industrial metal/rock one man band;there is a resemblence between an influence/inspiration and rippoff;as a result Godsmack can also be named a remix band;never thought I'd come to this conclusion

  • @bloodyrockfire Oomph! Has always been Oomph! hey have always been an "in-your-face" industrial tanz-metal band and they are good.. They don't do friendly music, they do their own thing. BB lost what made them good; they use to be agressive, intresting, creative and NOT RADIO FRIENDLY. they took that away and just staretd doing what every other rock band do; make music for the radio! yay! end of story

  • @Avzzor hey they still good

  • @Avzzor used to be why?

  • @Avzzor damn avzzor do you just try to troll every tdg and BB song?

  • @sirmatthew13 I like old BB. I hate 3DG

  • I LOVE UR FACE JUS GET AWAY IM ON MY KNEES FUCK U FUCK ME

  • My fave BB song! just the best song to headbang to! FUCK YOU FUCK ME XD genius!

  • LOVE this song! its good to clean to. it helps that Benjamin is soooo hot!

  • Everyone needs just to STFU. The people you are arguing about God, nations, and war are probably trolls

  • 4 people i have to hunt down and taze to death oh dear :l

  • One Of There Best!!!

  • "I'm all I need. Fuck you, fuck me."

    Breaking Benjamin FTW

  • @jefffhhhardy00 its im on my knees not im all i need

  • @Supertrunks777

Oh well my bad lol I was just going from the lyrics from another video that had lyrics to this song.

  • 4 dislikes= 4 fucktards with a deathwish

  • @Deutscheland1470 you know i usually kind of get tired of those that go 4 people bla bla bla 4 justin bieber fans or w/e or 4 blind people etc... but dude that comment was sooo true... 4 people = 4 fucks with a deathwish... BRILLIANT LOL

  • I hate this song. I love Breaking Benjamin though. Thumbs up if your favorite Breaking Ben song is LIGHTS OUT on the DEAR AGONY album.

  • best song ever!

"i love your face, just get away!

i'm on my knees, fuck you! fuck me!"

  • @Adawong796 Its not love its I loath your face, atleast im sure its loath thats why he saying get away after that. But do you know whats there latest song or when will be there next album

  • @FatalDeity It says love not loath, and their newest album is titled Dear Agony. I bet they are working on a new one, but nothings been announced. It will be a couple years probably.

  • @ganon167 Lol No im sure its loath...it does not make sense for him to say "Love your face, just get away, im on my knees fuck you fuck me" In it he's saying get away like he hates some one...so loath would have to be the word he's using...

  • @FatalDeity no it would. the song is not about hating someone, it's about sex

    look at the songs title

and it makes esnse because if you have trouble understand the song it's because you don't understand poetry

one of the best songs ever

  • @Avzzor its really about sex...I have to listen to it to see what he talking about...hmmm ok

  • @FatalDeity What do you think a song called "Topless" would be about?

  • @Avzzor T_T I mean i dont know! I usually listen to Rap and R&B but BB is a great band that caught my attention so Idk what really any of theit songs are about but since this is the first Metal or rock band (Dont know what type they are) me listing to it I thought they were talking about hate and death and other depressing type things...O_O

  • @FatalDeity most of their classic older songs are about love problems, drugs, sex and alcohol.. their newer more mainstream stuff is about love, pain, death..

  • @Avzzor There lyrics are usually much deeper then that and just cause the songs name is topless doesnt mean its about sex it could be a metaphor for something I mean there biggest influence is Nirvana I doubt they would just sing about shallow shit like alchol, drugs and sex all the time.

  • @DioPriest13 But... DUH

You can make deep shit about ANYTHING

and rock is mostly based around "drugs, sex and rock 'n roll".. The song is about Temptation of sex..

  • @DioPriest13 ...dude...hav u watched teh music video for this??? it totally is about sex dude...

  • @Avzzor oh get out of here, a bunch of their songs are about hope and faith they're not freakin emo, theyre freakin amazing

  • @Apprentice12233445 wtf? who said they're emo? I didnt... I said this song is about SEX

  • @Avzzor srry i meant to reply to FatalDeity

  • @FatalDeity i pretty sure it's love...but anyways, i don't kno what thier latest song is or if there is gunna be another album...

  • @Adawong796

it's I loathe your face, just get away

  • :) epic

  • I like this song because its random and sorta evil?! anyone agree?

  • lets everyone shut up...and listen...enjoy this wonderful song and relax.

  • awsome songggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • Instead of commenting on topics in which everyone is going to dispute, argue, back up, try to prove and bitch about, how about commenting on the song. When I listen to a song, I dont try to match it with a topic, I just listen to its beat, lryics and voice! This song is awesome! Enough said!

  • @ScottJackson117 bang on bro! absolutely correct..... i think in the same way..

  • People have rights to their own opinions about religion. This is a song. Who cares if BB is Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, or any other religion. Just chill down and listen to the music.

  • @leetbh

    That's what I'm saying.

  • Anyone one know some music similar to BB? Been looking for ages... Someone reccomend me some new music!
