Stand up for yourself. Change your passwords and tell your friend you care about them, but that is your personal stuff and they wouldn't like you being nosy in their personal stuff or being nosy nancy. Draw boundaries. If they are a true friend, they will understand. And if they don't understand, than they aren't much of a friend anyway. You come first, always.
Anyone who tells a rumor about you (or anyone else) isn't a true friend at all. High school is tough enough without having to put up with "fake friends". Stick with a few close friends and, honestly, who cares what others say or think.
