I must admit, it is a much happier place the London, friendly ppl walking their families & pet dogs along the beach in winter, good air quality, low crime & nice scenery & family atmosphere I guess wld also contribute to why life feels happier in Bournemouth. The New Forest close by is nice too, full of horses. The weather is much warmer & sunnier too.

Bournemouth is great for kids... you can play volleyball on the beach & surf.... those lil' ones playin crazy golf at 1.53 is a nice shot...... They have some good paddle boats in Poole park & minature motor boats & also mini cars you can steer by putting money in a machine there too.

Especially in summer Bournemouth becomes so beautiful and lively. The beach and the pear, recreational areas are grogeous, you can see squirells jumping around you. The crime rate is much lower than other cities, one can feel totally safe most of the time.

wba95x: The yobs usually stay around Lansdowne Roundabout. The beach and most of the town is still perfect. Nowhere near as horrible as London. Tell you what, down there even the yobs are not THAT horrible. E.g: even if they are drunk, they would still say Thank you to the driver etc, Plus the town is still clean. If you want peace, you could still go to Highcliffe Beach or Mudeford Quay etc.

monny616: There are plenty of B&B`s from £15 per night, rooms for rent and hotels also may provide staff accommodation (I don`t know what kind of work you are gonna do). Finding a rent is the easiest bit. I am trying to find a good office job to be able to move back to Dorset from hellish London. Finding a JOB: that is hard!

My ex boyfriend lives there. I was there once - he invited me. I loved this place... I loved him. I miss him..still. Over a year ago we decided that we can't stand this distance any more. I couldn't go to bmth, he couldn't come back to me. Now we're only friends. He has a girl, I have boyfriend that I love so much, but when I think about ex, .. it is stronger tham me. Bournemouth was beautiful with N. There is one song reminds me about him: SIA - BREATH ME...

Bournemouth is an absolutley stunning part of the UK.the beaches,the sun and the amazing nightlife along with just about everything else is really nice.will defo go back next summer!

I love Bournemouth, I have been there to times, the summer 08 and 09. I love it there, it's so many nice people, shops, and of course the beach!! I would love to go back.

I've been here for 1.5 month this year. I had fantastic time. I really miss Bournemouth. I like better Bournemouth than London. In London impressed me the London Eye, Big Ben, The science museum and the Buckingham Palace. But in Bournemouth.. I liked everything. Perfect place for living!!!

@ndzordz I totally agree with you, I was there for six month, there is a spirit of peaceful English life, I miss it so much. London is a noisy metropolitan mega city, too crowded. Especially in summer Bournemouth becomes so beautiful and lively. The beach and the pear, recreational areas are grogeous, you can see squirells jumping around you. The crime rate is much lower than other cities, one can feel totally safe most of the time.
